This is the long-awaited second Porsche 911 rally event.

The day before the rally was an unbelievable heavy rain, but as expected, the participants and managers of the rally, as was the case last time, are sure to have something.

Do you say that your usual behavior is too good ... Really, the Porsche rally was held for the second year in a row, and the weather was so good. Thank you God.

The heavy rain the day before seemed to be a lie, and on the morning of the rally, the scenery that woke up and spread out in front of me was such a beautiful Mt. Fuji. What a spread. ↓

In the weather where the rain forecast continued, I avoided rain for only two days when the rally was held, and the sunny weather and Mt. Fuji that I have seen many times, I think this day looked the most beautiful. I was able to enjoy the rally with the beautiful scenery of Mt. Fuji.

What I did early in the morning of the Porsche Rally

Alright. It was before we met at the starting point of such a rally. I had something to do.

Yeah, that's ... in the morning, the Museo gathering is from 7:15, but I ran through the town of Gotemba around 6am ... oh, while encountering the illusory 1987 Porsche 959 ..., yes, bother What I did in Gotemba just before the rally.

That's right, there is only this, it is a car wash of Porsche 911 GT3 (laugh)! When I say "I have something to do", it's usually a car wash ^^ What kind of life is it?

But that's all.

After all, I ran after a heavy rain. There was a puddle, and my white GT3 had mud splashes and insects because I ran at high speed.

Actually, since I was originally thinking of participating in the eve of the festival, I decided to wash the car first when I arrived in Gotemba before the eve of the festival (eh? Weird?).

It was inevitable that the car would get dirty if I ran at high speed in the rain, so when I arrived at Gotemba, I thought I would wash the car the day before and prepare for the next day's rally, so I checked the location of the car wash in Gotemba in advance. I did ^^

In the end, the schedule for the day before was out of order and I arrived at Gotemba in the middle of the night, so I suddenly changed my schedule and decided to wash the car on the morning of the rally.

No, I still don't know what that Porsche 911 is for me ^^, but anyway, I can't stand how dirty it is to get my favorite car to participate in the rally.

It was a morning when I felt happy when I saw the GT3 becoming beautiful.

As expected, I didn't have time to wipe everything off, so I just wiped off the windows and side mirrors, and then naturally blew water to dry. I will run a lot after this, so expect it to dry out.

Oh, and since water droplets remain on the resin part of the door sill, I wiped off only the resin part.

After washing the car, we will head to Museo, the starting point of the rally, with the GT3, which was very satisfying and shiny. It is a short walk from the car wash.

The Porsche flag that I saw many times in last year's rally, which is very nostalgic, can be seen in the distance.

Arrived safely at Museo without delaying the meeting time.

As you enter the premises, you will be guided to the grass area further back.

Many management staff are waiting for you and give you polite instructions.

As I was guided, I headed to the lawn garden of Museo, and a good number of Porsche 911s had already gathered.

There are many 911s in the morning light. A scene that is too nice.

Porsche 911s gathering more and more. It is strange that everything is 911, but it feels natural, anyway, Porsche who gathers are cute ^ ^

Everyone seemed to be excited with this Porsche flag as a landmark, saying, "We've gathered, let's go to the rally." e? Do you have delusions (laughs)?

But even if I look at my car, it still looks fun.

The Porsche of other entrants also felt the excitement of the owner and realized that "something fun must start from now on!" And seemed to enjoy it. No, really.

When I parked my car, I had to confirm the necessary documents such as car verification and driver's license. This is important, important.

There was no incomplete documents (I was told that I could not participate in the rally if there were incomplete documents, so I checked it many times before leaving the house, but I was still thrilled until the end ^ ^), the rally After the participation is OK, I will park the car for the time being and enter the Museo restaurant.

After the registration was confirmed, I was able to get a mount for stamping the stamp used in this rally.

Also, as will be described later, unlike last year's booklet type stamp rally mount, it has changed to a single stamp rally paper in a very nice file.

At the reception, the new Porsche 911, Miami Blue 992, is also on display, and behind it is a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. It's too picturesque.

In addition, I received 3 bibs to put on the car. A total of 3 bibs, one on the front and one on each of the left and right sides.

Last year's entrants had a conversation saying, "This number is easier to paste than the previous number."

I wonder if it was different from last year's. Anyway, it seems that this year's one was easier to paste.

Breakfast at the Porsche 911 Rally

At this rally, I heard at the preliminary briefing that "Breakfast box is available at Museo on the morning of the rally", but even so, when I started from T-Site in Daikanyama last year. Then, in addition to Starbucks coffee, I was able to get a financier, so many of the entrants thought, "Even so, I have to eat breakfast by myself." It seems.

When you open it, you will find a salad and cutlet sandwich inside. At first glance, it looks small, but this cutlet sandwich is quite voluminous, and when I ate it all, I felt like I was quite full ^^

In addition to hot drinks such as coffee, minestrone soup and French toast are also prepared, and the entrants have already said, "Well, I just ate rice balls!" "I can't eat anymore." I heard a voice saying, "A good breakfast is prepared."

From the morning, a nice breakfast while watching the beautiful Mt. Fuji and the cool 911s as a view.

The weather was nice and the food we had outside was very elegant. It's a relaxing time that I can't imagine going for a Porsche from now on. (If you think about it later, is this exactly the calm before the storm (laughs)?)

And while relaxing, every time I meet the entrants who appear there, there is an exchange between the entrants, such as "Oh! It's been a long time!" It was the beginning of a really nice morning.

When I started talking to Entrant here, I couldn't stop and I didn't have enough time to leave! I felt like that ^ ^

I was so absorbed in talking to Mr. Entrant that I forgot to put up the number until the very end of my departure. What are you coming to, me (laughs).

There was also a small envelope, so when I wondered what it was, the name tag that came out was this one.

Like last year, it is not just written as "Porsche Rally", but each one has a picture of each 911 participating vehicle, its model name, model year, and the name of each entrant. It's really exclusive, as it's listed.

Basically, you should always keep this name tag around your neck when you participate in the rally.

Rally opening ceremony

By the way, the meeting time is from 7:15 in the morning, and the opening ceremony is from 8:00.

By the way, if it wasn't accepted by 8 am, I was told that I would be retired, so I was thrilled again ^^

It was 8 am, so the opening ceremony for everyone started.

As with the first session, Porsche the Rally Amazing Moment 2019 will start from the greetings (opening declaration) of Chairman Fujita of Excellence International Co., Ltd.!

The opening ceremony was successfully completed, and all we had to do was wait for the departure. On the first day, the driving will be in the order of A group → B group → C group.

Even if you haven't put the number yet, you can use the time until departure to put the number.

Porsche with a bib number seems to be in a motivated mode saying "It's an event from now on!"

Porsche 911 Rally Pace Car

Here are the pace cars this time.

First of all, the 2016 911 Turbo Carrara White, which is a pace car that leads the A group. In this rally, our car had a very good time with this pace car ^ ^

And the 2020 911 Carrera 4S Gentian Blue Metallic that will lead the B group. Yes, the new Porsche 911. very!

By the way, even the entrant who participated this time had 992 units. It's too amazing ~ & I'm too happy to be able to run with 992 ^^

The 1994 911 Carrera Guards Red, which is also a classic car, leads the C group, which is a Porsche classic car group.

It's nice that the pace car is also classic.

In addition to the pace car, many cars of the management people will be dispatched. Panamera, Cayenne, etc.

There are also loaders on board for the management staff, mechanics, and in case something goes wrong.

Since such a backup environment is also in place, I was able to participate in the rally with peace of mind, and I think it was very encouraging especially for the entrants in classic cars.

The cars of the owners also become pictures with Mt. Fuji in the background. It's too cool! !!

Now it's time to start. Start at 8:30 am.

The starting point is the two squares along the road that you can see in the photo below. The same thing will be installed in the goal.

The Porsche 911 GT3, which is my car participating in this rally, was completely washed, the gasoline was full, and the number was affixed, so the preparation was perfect!

At the start of this time, at the time of departure, the name of the sales person in charge was announced in addition to the explanation of the car (model / year) of the entrant to depart and the name of the entrant ^ ^

Since I was the first departure, I could hardly hear the announcements of other people, but if I was watching the departure of another entrant, "Oh, I'm a customer of the same sales person. I thought that I might have felt a closer feeling with the entrants.

Excited by the departure of the rally, I was already listening to such an announcement from inside the car and said, "Oh yeah, this GT3 is the car that xx is in charge of! )) ”, I was happy to start.

After passing the starting point, I headed toward the road leaving Museo ... Just before leaving Museo, a beautiful Mt. Fuji was waiting in front of me. The sign of The Rally and Mt. Fuji.

Furthermore, there was a sales person who gave the sign of "engine start" at the start of the rally last year, and he guided me to the start again, so I was very happy.

Really, he sent me with a big smile as usual. Thank you.

Featuring Mt. Fuji: Porsche Rally with Mt. Fuji

The second Porsche 911 rally that has finally started. The Amazing Moment Featuring Mt. Fuji. Mt. Fuji has been with me for a long time, regardless of its name.

The last rally was so nice that I was impressed after it was over, saying, "It's too amazing to have this rally named Amazing Moment. It's as if I knew in advance that it would really be an Amazing Moment!" I used to, but this time too, the person who was given the name "Featuring Mt. Fuji" is really too amazing.

It is said that Mt. Fuji will entertain the rally together so far. That's exactly what I knew before I named the 2019 rally ^^

The rally has just begun. There are still no stamps on the mount that stamps at checkpoints.

The place where the picture is drawn is a place where you stop by, but you do not need to stamp it as a checkpoint, so proceed with the rally while stamping in order from now on where it is a round white circle. I will go ↓.

From Museo, the starting point of the rally, I was able to meet a lot of management staff who I love too much, including my favorite sales person who is indebted to me, and reunited with nostalgic entrants. Anyway, it was a start full of happiness.

From now on, I am looking forward to running Porsche with the entrants and going to the checkpoint, but one of my secret pleasures is "To the staff of the Porsche Center I know. Since there was also "meeting", I was looking for a management staff member who knew that I had not met (or even if I met once, I will meet again at the next checkpoint) on this day, "Where are you?"
