Porsche museum in Germany
located in Stuttgart, GermanyPorsche Museum. It's a place I'd like to visit at least once someday.
The Porsche Museum is said to have celebrated its 15th anniversary this year, so I would like to take a quick look at the overview of the Porsche Museum over the past 15 years.
Porsche Museum: Overview of 15 years since opening
- Opening is January 31, 2009
- Since opening, the number of visitors has been 5,824,325, and the number of events held has been 2,000.
- Past visitors include many celebrities including Paris Hilton, Backstreet Boys, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and AC/DC.
- The archive contains 25,000 small-scale exhibits, 5 million photographs, 1,700 hours of footage, and approximately 3 kilometers of documentation.
- The archive has received over 90,000 queries over 15 years.
- Porsche Museum has over 1 million followers on SNS (Instagram, Facebook, Weibo)
- A total of 314,291 people, including men and women, participated in the factory tour.
- 28,301 guided tours of the museum were taken.
- Team Porsche Heritage & Museum has supported over 3,300 events around the world using cars from its collection.
- In the museum's workshop, more than 3,000 vehicles were maintained and prepared for each mission.
By the way, in the memorable first year that the Porsche Museum opened (2009), there were 511,513 visitors, but in 2023, the number of visitors exceeded that number at 535,613. I think one of the reasons for this is that it was the year commemorating Porsche's 75th anniversary.
Since this year marks the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911 Turbo, the Porsche Museum in 2024 will hold a special exhibition commemorating ``50 Years of the Turbo'' starting July 30th. We plan to support the exhibition.
The Porsche Museum is a place where you can learn and touch various things related to the history and development of the Porsche brand, and is considered to be one of the most important places for Porsche.
It is a facility where everyone from adults to children can experience and enjoy the world of Porsche, and it is also amazing that most of the cars displayed and stored in the museum can be properly ``driving''. .
The museum itself also functions as an archive for Porsche.
Congratulations on the 15th anniversary of the opening of the Porsche Museum. And after all, I would like to go there someday ^^
