So that you can bring your own Porsche to PEC Tokyo and run

"Porsche Owner Experience" running in the Porsche Experience Center with your own Porsche

It was announced that two new experiences, "Porsche Owner Experience" and "Porsche Owner Classic Experience", have been added to Porsche Experience Center Tokyo (PEC Tokyo) at the start of reservation reception from April 1, 2023 ^ ^

Since the opening of PEC Tokyo, there have been many voices saying, "Is it possible to bring my own Porsche and run?" "I want to run with my own Porsche." It is a prepared program.

The program is for Porsche owners, and the program details are as follows:

What is the Porsche Owner Experience?

  • You can drive your own Porsche for 90 minutes through a 2.1km handling course, dynamic areas, kick plates and drift circles.
  • Porsche cars from 1990 onwards can participate (the following vehicles can participate as an exception: 1987-1990 928, 944, 944S (vehicles equipped with ABS & driver, passenger airbag), 944Turbo can also participate
  • 90 minute driving coach included
  • The handling course is coached from inside the lead car
  • Wireless coaching from outside the vehicle in drift circles, dynamic areas and kick plates
  • The price is 45,000 yen (additional 5,500 yen safety pack subscription required)

What is the Porsche Owner Classic Experience?

  • It is possible to drive the handling track and dynamic area for 30 minutes with low speed guidance driving.
  • Porsche cars before 1989 can participate
  • 30 minute driving coach included
  • Dinner included after driving
  • The price is 22,500 yen (the price includes dinner, and a separate safety pack of 5,500 yen is required).

In addition, both programs above require the following to participate:

  • Registration certificate (automobile inspection certificate)
  • Automobile liability insurance certificate
  • Vehicle technical check form sent with confirmation after booking
  • Participating drivers are limited to vehicle owners
  • Limited to those over the age of 21 who have a valid Japanese driver's license or an international driver's license
  • Vehicles without driver and passenger airbags and ABS are not allowed to participate.
  • Vehicles with race car specifications are not allowed to participate.
  • Vehicles equipped with race brake pads, R compound tires, and open exhausts are not allowed to participate.

These two experiences are not available every day, and can be reserved only at certain times each month, so if you are interested, it is better to check early and make a reservation. I think.

In addition, the check form necessary for participation is sent by e-mail after making a reservation, and after filling out the form, it is said that it must be submitted three days before the reservation date along with the vehicle inspection certificate etc. Therefore, it is better to make a reservation with plenty of time to spare when making a reservation.

Reservations are currently available by phone: 0120-718-911 (Telephone reception hours: 9:00-18:00/excluding regular holidays)

Porsche Owner Experience logo

By the way, I thought that the logo of these Porsche owner experiences had a sense of déjà vu, but yeah, I understand.

This looks like BMW's 50th anniversary logo (laughs).

don't they look alike? I can only see BMW anymore ... (sorry Mr. Porsche).
