The end of the year at The Momentum by Porsche...and the start of a life of a total wreck

Thank you for your continued support this year. We hope that 2025 will be a year of health, safety, and even more happiness for you all.

So, to start my blog for 2025, I would like to talk about what this New Year's holiday was like.

I've been so lazy that I still can't reintegrate into society.

By the end of 2024,The Momentum by PorscheI went for lunch on what I think was the restaurant's last business day of 2024.

My husband and I were there just the two of us, and they provided us with a lovely private room, so even though it was lunchtime, we were already in the mood for dinner.

I left my car at home that day, so I started drinking right away.

I was so impressed when the first beer glass (sorry it's half-drunk and looks ugly) was brought out.

This glass is from a brand that no longer exists in Japan.Porsche NOW" It was a glass. I remember it fondly.

They brought out a variety of wines and asked us which one we would like, and while we were enjoying the delicious food we quickly finished two bottles between the two of us.

As expected, after opening two bottles between the two of us in the short lunch time, we were in a pretty good mood and drunk.

After greeting everyone at Momentum, we continued on to thePorsche Studio GinzaWhat.

First, I was casually looking at the products on sale, when suddenly I turned around to look at a monitor in the store and saw a video of a BMW being shown.

At this point, I seriously began to wonder if I was drunk and hallucinating (lol).

After all, you can see a BMW running on a monitor inside Porsche Studio Ginza.

I was so surprised that I asked the lady at the store, and she told me that it was a video with various cars in it, and after this BMW came a Porsche...and sure enough, the video after that was a Porsche ^^

Apparently when I watched it there was only a short bit of footage of BMW.

Wow, I thought maybe I was just too drunk (lol).

After that, I had something I wanted to check, so I asked the Porsche Pro lady to show me what I wanted to check.

Then, in addition to being able to check out the Cartagena Yellow Metallic 992.2 on display in the store, we were also told that we could check out the Taycan prepared outside the store, so we were able to see the Taycan as well.

"I'll get ready," he said, and while I waited, I sat down and had a drink at Porsche Studio Ginza... but as soon as I sat down, I fell asleep (laughs).

I think it was only for a few minutes, but I fell into a completely deep sleep.

What a degenerate end to 2024 I'll be having, drinking my fill at Momentum and then sleeping off it at the neighboring Porsche Studio Ginza.

Afterwards, I was shown the Taycan that had been prepared for me and was able to confirm the first of the things I wanted to know (I also have a second question I'd like to confirm, so I'll get to that another time).

Thank you to my sister, Porsche Pro.

And so, I had a great time with Porsche until the very end of 2024.

I was planning to go for a drive to see the first sunrise of 2025, but...

So, I spent New Year's Eve, December 31st, 2024, with my family, but my memory starts to get a bit fragmented after I got super excited when B'z appeared on the Red and White Song Battle...

The next day, January 1, 2025, I was excited to leave early in the morning and go see the first sunrise in the GT3! So I got up at 4am on New Year's Day.

I was able to wake up perfectly fine so far so good, but now it seems like the alcohol is still in my system.

Usually, if I've been drinking the night before and will be driving early the next morning, I always take an alcohol test before getting behind the wheel, but on this day, I had a feeling that something was suspicious even before I checked, so I checked anyway.

And here are the results. Aaaargh.

We conduct alcohol tests and prevent people from driving if even the slightest number is found, but some people (who don't drink alcohol) may not understand the number just written down, so I think an easy-to-understand indicator would be the number at which you would be caught for "drunk driving."

"Drunk driving" occurs when the alcohol concentration in one litre of breath is 0.15mg or more.

My reading this time was equivalent to 0.25mg/l. Even before the alcohol test, I knew that this was no good.

My husband also checked his blood pressure, and although his levels weren't as high as mine, there were still some readings, so he decided not to drive.

Instead of going for a drive to see the first sunrise of 2025, New Year's Day started with me going back to sleep.

I look forward to working with you this year as well.

Although the end of the year and the start of 2025 have been quite like that of a shut-in, I'm going to enjoy my drunken life over the New Year (which I'm still doing (lol)), and once the alcohol has worn off, I'd like to start my Porsche life anew in 2025.

I hope that in 2025, we will continue to drive safely and have many fun times with Porsches and all other Porsche enthusiasts.
