Porsche: Porsche

The 5th Tokai & Kanto Joint Porsche Girls' Gathering @Tokyo

Posted: Posted:

Leave your own Porsche behind and search for Porsches from a double-decker bus on this Tokyo sightseeing tour

Well, 2025 has begun, and although it is already February, I attended the usual New Year's party that brought together Porsche girls from the Tokai and Kanto groups.

A total of 12 people gathered this time, 4 from Tokai and 8 from Kanto.

The Porsche girls' party started in the morning at the meeting place.

Since this was a New Year's party, we knew we needed to have some alcohol, so we decided to have some in the afternoon, and everyone left their Porsches at home for the gathering.

The Tokai group even took the trouble to come all the way to Tokyo by Shinkansen. Amazing!

If you think about it calmly, we don't get together in Porsches and go on tours anymore, so it's more like a "simple drinking party" than a "Porsche girls' get-together" (laughs).

Well, this is what these girls will enjoy first.

Tokyo Tour by Sky Bus

Not a Porsche, but a fine Mercedes two-story bus that runs on biofuel (next-generation biodiesel fuel)Sky Bus』.

On this day, unexpectedly, a morning mission with the theme "open car" was held at PEC Tokyo in the morning, but although I was unable to participate in it, I enjoyed the open car as you can see here ^^

I often see this Sky Bus while traveling around Tokyo, so I've always wanted to ride it, so I was happy to get the chance.

Even though it was February, it was a perfect sunny day with a maximum temperature of 15-16°C between the cold and the cold. What wonderful sunny women are gathered here, Porsche girls. They are so well behaved everyday.

On the bus, a Japanese bus guide explained various things in Japanese using a microphone, and foreign passengers could listen to explanations in several major world languages by plugging earphones (which seem to be provided) into the audio guide attached to their seats.

However, while the Japanese explanations are given in real time, this audio guide basically just consists of "music with occasional simple explanations."

The Sky Bus has several routes, and judging from the crowding on the day we visited, it seemed like the tours that went around Asakusa and Akihabara were busier, but the main route of the bus we were on seemed to be "crossing Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge."

First, we depart with a view of Tokyo Station. The whole station can be seen from the two-story bus, which is even more beautiful.

Next, we will head to Tokyo Tower while listening to explanations about Hibiya Park and other attractions.

Even though I pass by Hibiya Street all the time, it was fun to look around from the double-decker bus and see a new world unfolding before me.

Tokyo Tower is also very impressive. Skytree is nice, but Tokyo Tower is the best (maybe I'll be considered an old lady if I say that lol?).

And I gave my own guided tour, ignoring the bus guide, and said, "To the right of Tokyo Tower is Toranomon Hills Mori Tower, the building in which Porsche Japan is located."

It's a double-decker bus, and with the roof open, road signs and other things seem so close they're almost above your head, which is also fun.

Next came the Rainbow Bridge.

Really, the views you get from driving around on your own (in a low Porsche) and from being seated on the second floor of a big bus are different, and both are great.

Although the Sky Bus was very pleasant, the wind was so strong that all the women's hair was completely messed up.

By the time I got off the bus, I was also a mess and crunched (lol).

One interesting thing was that the Porsche girls were enjoying learning various trivia from the bus guide that day, saying things like "Oh," "Oh, I see," and "I didn't know that," but it happened when the bus entered the Kachidoki area.

The bus guide explained to us, "This area is called Kachidoki, and it has been ranked number one in the rankings of cities people want to buy and live in for five consecutive years" (I was even surprised by this fact), and continued, "If you live around here, you won't need a car."

At that moment, the 12 Porsche girls on the bus were all saying "No, no, no" and it was really funny (laughs). It was the only moment that day when everyone said to the bus guide, "That's not right!"

Searching for Porsche from the bus

So, the bus tour for these girls that day wasn't just a sightseeing tour of Tokyo; it also became a game (?) of "seeing how many Porsches they could spot from the bus."

Everyone got very excited every time they spotted a Porsche, saying things like, "Oh, there's one over there," or "There's a yellow Porsche two cars ahead."

In the end, I encountered about 20 Porsches on this day. There are quite a few of them.

While we were all having fun discovering Porsches and sightseeing around Tokyo, the bus tour ended in a flash.

Porsche girls drinking party starts

Next, we moved to a different location for lunchtime, a drinking party!!

As if they had been waiting for this, everyone shouted "Cheers!"

It's so delicious and fun to drink alcohol together in the afternoon.

The lunch that day was churrasco, so it was all-you-can-eat and the guys kept bringing out more meat.

The guys also did a great job dealing with 12 drunk women (lol).

The style of the drink was to pour ourselves whatever we wanted, so some people started with beer, then moved on to cocktails, some to highballs, and some to wine, and everyone enjoyed their own drink.

At first it seemed like common sense to me to do so, but after a while it became too much of a hassle to go get it, so I started pouring wine into a full glass (large enough that I could carry around with me) and bringing it to them.

Elegance < desire to drink (lol)

The girl next to me was obsessed with grilled pineapple and it was funny to see her just eating pineapple (lol).

With our stomachs full and the drinks all in good condition, everyone was starting to get their turn when upbeat music started playing at a loud volume in the bar.

What's amazing is that the speakers are broken? The sound is completely distorted, but the music continues to play at a loud volume without any regard for that.

"What is this?" "What is going to happen?" I started to get excited, and the reason was that it was a Porsche girl's table, so I was even more surprised.

Yes, there were two people whose birthdays were coming up soon, so a birthday surprise was prepared.

We all celebrated birthdays together, talked about all sorts of things, laughed, and were surprised one after another; it was a lot of fun.

...After writing this much, you might be thinking, "This has nothing to do with Porsche," but this is just a report on a drinking party (lol), but the important thing here is that all the people at this party were complete strangers a few years ago.

These complete strangers didn't go to the same school or work, they just met through the car called Porsche, and what's more, they've not just known each other, but have now become friends who laugh and drink together like this.

I am truly grateful to have made so many friends of the same gender who I can talk to about how great Porsche is. Thank you to everyone.

Meet the 718 GT4 RS

After lunch, we all dispersed, with some people heading off to do more sightseeing in the area around Skytree.

I have something to do later, so I'll say goodbye here.

My husband was going to come and pick me up for my next errand, but the Porsche girls who knew about it said, "I'm going to see it!" and came to the place where the pick-up was coming.

So, when my husband arrived at the pick-up location he was suddenly surrounded by 11 women who started screaming and screaming, and my husband didn't know what to do (lol).

Afterwards, I heard, "Everyone, you had amazing power...And he smelled of alcohol...)" (laughs).

Finally, I was happy that my Porsche female friends were able to see the GT4 RS again.

We decided that next time we should take the car and have a "girls' running get-together."

I hope the circle of fun and wonderful Porsche girls will continue to expand in the future. The problem is that it's difficult to gather a large number of people at once (I still have many people I want to invite), but I hope we can gather in a large place like this once a year, where any number of people can gather!

Anyway, it was another very enjoyable day. Thank you to everyone who came all the way from Tokai. And also to everyone in the Kanto region.

Finally, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the organizers who planned and managed this wonderful event. Thank you very much!
