The 4th Tokai & Kanto Joint Porsche Women's Gathering @ Nihondaira Hotel (Shizuoka)

The 4th Tokai & Kanto Porsche Girls' Gathering

The Tokai & Kanto Porsche Girls' Gathering, which started in 2023, is a gathering of Porsche ladies living in the Tokai region (and occasionally Kansai) and Kanto region.

When you think about it, it's amazing.

At first, each of you only knew one or two people in real life, but then you met people at events and on social media, and your circle of friends expanded, and now you've met so many Porsche girls that I've lost count of how many there are in total.

This was the fourth Tokai and Kanto Porsche Girls' Gathering. Past events include:

First Porsche girls' party: Joint girls' party in the Tokai and Kanto regions
(The Porsche girls' party was published on Octane.)
The 2nd Tokai & Kanto Joint Porsche Women's Gathering @ Hakone
The 3rd Tokai & Kanto Joint Porsche Women's Gathering @ Ginza

Lunch at Nihondaira Hotel in Shizuoka Prefecture

The Porsche girls' gathering on this day was held in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture.Nippondaira HotelThe event was held at.

As more and more cars started to gather in the hotel parking lot, I noticed something when there were six cars there, including my Porsche.

Amazingly, all the other cars except for my black Carrera are convertibles!

I remember something similar happening at a previous Porsche girls' get-together, but I wonder if there are more women who drive convertibles?

In any case, this Porsche girls' gathering is always blessed with the best weather. On this day, too, we were able to park the Porsches in perfect weather with the beautiful Mt. Fuji in the background.

I'm sure that everyone who is participating has very good behavior in everyday life.

On this day, 15 people (14 cars) gathered.

Originally, 16 cars were scheduled to participate, but one person was unable to attend due to poor health, and another person had to be driven to the event due to car problems, so the Porsche Women event ended up with 15 people (14 cars).

There were four red Porsches on this day. I usually think that red is a rare color when touring with male owners, so I wonder if this is also something that only female owners can do?

At first, I wanted to participate in this event in a yellow 997 GT3, but I had not yet found a good device for mounting a smartphone inside the car, and I was worried about traveling alone with only an old navigation system, so I decided to participate in a black Carrera (991.2).

The yellow Porsche in the photo is a 996↓I'd love to have them lined up in the same Speed Yellow one day.

This was my first time at Nihon-daira Hotel, but the view from there was absolutely stunning.

The moment you enter the hotel lobby, this is the view that spreads out before your eyes. It's the best.

I was excited to see such a beautiful Mt. Fuji while eating my meal, but when I went to the room I saw the words "Kanto Tokai Joint Porsche Women's Gathering".

It really felt like I was in a banquet hall at a proper event (laughs).

When we entered the room we were shown into... wow. Just as we had expected, there was a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji.

The view of Mt. Fuji, Suruga Bay, and above all, the clear, sunny weather was amazing.

The more I look at the room where the lunch party will be held, the more I get the impression it might be a wedding reception venue (laughs).

No, but in fact the wedding reception was being held in the room next door.

The Porsche girls who gathered at this wonderful venue first introduced themselves and then said "Cheers!"

Of course, since everyone was driving that day, it was non-alcoholic. I thought for a moment, "I wish this was alcohol," but when I thought about the Porsche waiting for me in the parking lot, I strangely didn't feel like drinking.

Of course, drinking and driving is prohibited, so this may seem like a given, but it's not like I'm driving while holding back the urge to drink, but rather, it's a natural feeling that I don't particularly want to drink if my Porsche is there (driving).

After the toast, we started our lunch while chatting, and both were delicious.

In addition, a "gift exchange" was planned as a lunchtime event that day, with each person preparing a gift worth less than 1,000 yen.

My children exchange gifts with their friends every year, so I have prepared for that, but it has been years since I last experienced it myself.

It's exciting when you actually exchange gifts.

The gift I drew in the lottery for the gift exchange was number 5, and it was something luxurious wrapped in a Porsche.

What a present this is.

Porsche Crest ice cube trayThat's it! You definitely can't buy it for 1,000 yen (lol). Thank you.

I already have one, but the Crest tray can only make 8 Crests at a time, so I thought if I had another one I could make 16 at once... (but I was hesitant to buy another one myself), so I was very happy ^^

And this was the gift I prepared.

First, there was a 992 Porsche 911 miniature car from Majorette and meringue sweets. The remaining two were free, so I added them as "priceless."Porsche event at Laguna SecaPorsche newspapers and novelty Porsche sunscreen were distributed at the event.

The process of thinking "What should I give as a gift?" was also fun.

The room where the luncheon was held also had a terrace leading outside.

We went out to this terrace and took a commemorative photo with Mt. Fuji in the background.

To Porpic (Porsche Picnic)

After lunch, we left Nihon-daira Hotel and headed towards the coast near the hotel.

With the Porsche leading the way, we drive towards Mount Fuji.

Looking behind me, I saw other Porsches being driven by Porsche ladies.

My black CarreraWater spots in well waterI'm sorry that the car is so dirty and unsightly, including the windows... (laughs). I can't even wash the car now.

Once again we arrived at a spot where we could get a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji.

Since several members of the Porsche Girls' Club are accustomed to camping, they decided to plan a "Porsche Picnic" or "Porpic," which is a casual and easy-going little "picnic," even if it doesn't quite qualify as "camping."

The variety of goods that the Polpic girls own and the skill with which they do it are simply amazing.

The table and stove are set up in no time.

I watched helplessly as everyone worked so efficiently (which means I didn't do anything (lol)), and in no time at all the water for tea was boiling, the tea was being made, and next to it the sweets that everyone had brought were being beautifully displayed.

The focus here is on the girls' get-together in the Tokai and Kanto regions, so among the sweets brought are the Tokai representative "shiruko sandwich" and "uiro". From Mito, there are also natto-flavored umaibo.

Damn, the Kanto group should have brought more Tokyo bananas or something that showed Tokyo love (lol).

Even so, the Polpic girls are so skillful and I have nothing but respect for them.

If this wasn't a fun Polpic game, but a survival game on a deserted island for Porsche girls, I think I would be the first to drop out (to survive) among this group.

The last time I went to Polpic, I did bring an outdoor folding chair like everyone else, but since I usually get my husband to assemble it for me, I tried to do it myself that day, but in the end I couldn't assemble the chair myself, so I had to get someone else to help me set it up.

So, since I was already tired of the self-assembly outdoor chairs, this time I just brought an IKEA child's chair that I could just stick in the trunk of my 911 (lol)

Even though it was December at the beach, the sun was shining brightly and it wasn't as cold as I had imagined, so we were able to enjoy Polpic very comfortably under the blue sky.

Among the sweets brought by everyone, chocolate chip cookies and shiruko sandwiches were baked and warmed on the spot, making them even more delicious, and everyone had a great time eating them.

At the beginning of the Porsche Girls' Gathering, everyone was still just familiar with each other, and although it was fun, we started off feeling a bit reserved with each other.

However, as we meet more and more, and since we've all met a few times now, I think we've become more relaxed and able to enjoy ourselves more casually and lively (in a good way) than before.

Even though we have met several times, this was the fourth Tokai & Kanto Joint Porsche Women's Gathering, so at most it would be four times, but even so, our relationship is completely different.

After just a few encounters, I feel like I've known them for a long time. I wonder if that's because we have something in common: we each love Porsche. Even if we've only met four times (or less), there's always something we can enjoy and understand together.

It's really nice that each of you cares so much about your Porsche, and I hope we can continue to have a fun Porsche life together, with safety as our number one priority.

This Porsche girls' get-together (for me) involved a total drive distance of 385 kilometers.

It was a lot of fun.

I look forward to continuing to expand my network of wonderful Porsche ladies, both in large-scale gatherings and individually.

Thank you everyone.

For those who were unable to participate this time, we hope to have the opportunity to join you again sometime in the future.
