The 2nd Tokai & Kanto Joint Porsche Women's Gathering @ Hakone

Porsche girls from the Tokai and Kanto regions come together

in November 2023The 1st Tokai & Kanto Joint Porsche Girls' Gatheringwas held at the Fuji Speedway Hotel.

Following that, this time we held the second Tokai & Kanto joint Porsche ladies' get-together.

This time the event was held in Hakone and I was able to participate again, so I would like to write about my experience.

First of all, since it looked like I would be getting up early on the day, I decided to start by refueling the day before.

The initiator of the Tokai & Kanto Porsche Women's Association proposed to hold a joint women's gathering for Porsche women in the Tokai and Kanto regions.Karekossan, who is a YouTuber..

I think it's amazing that the second event is already being held at such an early stage. Thank you for every support.

Furthermore, this time the members from the Kanto group took on a leadership role in many areas, including planning the touring route and lunch spots, contacting everyone (mainly the Kanto group) in advance, communicating with the Tokai group, and leading the way on the day.

I can't thank you enough for everything. Thank you very much.

Porsche Picnic...or Polpic for short

Well, let's get started. Porsche girls have early mornings. Really early.

On this day, I left my home in Tokyo at 3:25am. Wow, that's pretty early!

I usually wake up at 4am and am often wandering around from around 4:30am (I'm a pervert), but it's rare for me to leave the house at 3:30am, which is even earlier than that.

The reason why we started so early in the morning was because we had been invited to "Let's do some Porsche pics!" before the Porsche girls' night out started.

Polpic is short for "Porsche Picnic."

Although it doesn't go as far as "camping in a Porsche," commonly known as "Porcamp," it's still a relaxed way to have fun outdoors.

The Kanto group of people participating in this Polpic gathered early and started their day enjoying their Porsches early in the morning.

By the time we gathered the sun had finally risen.

On this day, a total of seven Porsche girls participated in the Polpic before the Porsche Girls' Party. First, we went to a convenience store to get the ingredients we would need for the Polpic.

After this, we all drove further towards the Polpic location, taking some photos at scenic points along the way.

A commemorative photo of all seven cars lined up with the sea in the background.

While taking a commemorative photo here, I noticed that of the seven people participating in Polpic at the time, everyone except for me was driving an open-top car.

I was surprised at how many people were in open-top cars. By the way, I was driving a black Carrera that day.

Hmm?

While taking a commemorative photo, I happened to look to my side and saw an air-cooled Porsche parked quietly and timidly next to me.

Why is there an air-cooled one here? Coincidence?

No, actually, the owner of this air-cooled Porsche was accompanying us as a photographer for the Porsche girls' get-together.

As a man, he was considerate and thoughtful about entering the Porsche girls' party, so even when the cars were lined up like this, he parked his own car at a distance and devoted himself entirely to his mission as a photographer, taking wonderful photos and videos. Thank you very much again!

The photographer will be:jun_87carrera Mr. Miss.

The photos he took that day have probably been uploaded to social media by many of the Porsche girls who attended the Porsche girls' party with the suspicious hashtag "# Moist Beard Madam Junmi", so if you're interested, please take a look.

Picnic in a Porsche: Polpic

Once we arrived at the Polpic site, we started our picnic right away.

The people there were used to picnics and camping, so they already had all the equipment and were very efficient, which was really impressive. I just stood there, helpless. It was a moment where I felt powerless, but at the same time, I was moved by how wonderful everyone was.

If this group of us were to start a survival life on a deserted island, I'd probably be the first to die. What are you talking about (lol)?

The main ingredient for this day was frozen gyoza, as the concept was to make it easy to enjoy. Being able to grill and eat gyoza outside in the morning was the best.

I was also impressed by the excellent quality of the frozen gyoza. You can fry delicious gyoza without water or oil. Japan is the best.

I also had some vermicelli soup that I had bought at the convenience store earlier.

If you look at the other side of the table, you will see eclairs laid out there, giving the impression that an elegant afternoon tea is about to begin.

What what what, is this really a girls' night out??

Polpic was continually impressed by everyone's high level of femininity while still maintaining their high level of survival skills.

There are so many Porsche girls, each and every one of you is so talented in so many different ways!!

I mean, do you normally have a champagne tower at a picnic? (laughs)

Too funny.

Everyone toasted with PORSCHE cups.

*We had originally planned to enjoy coffee or tea after the meal, but we didn't have enough time.

We all enjoyed eating the deliciously cooked dumplings and desserts together, but before we knew it, we had to leave already or we wouldn't make it in time for the main event, the Porsche girls' party!

The process of packing up from there was extremely quick (laughs).

In less than 10 minutes, the area was restored to its original state without leaving a single speck of trash behind. This is also a sign of feminine power. With such skill, Porsche Bear looks like the boss of the Bears.

The Tokai and Kanto groups join forces

"If we're late, the Tokai group will get in trouble!" we thought as we headed off to the meeting place for the next group, the Tokai group.

Ultimately, the meeting place for all the Porsche girls that day was the Anest Iwata Sky Lounge parking lot on the Hakone Turnpike, but before we got there, the meeting place was between the Tokai group, who had already gathered and were touring, and the Kanto group, who had been doing Porpic since the morning.

When we arrived at the meeting place, the Tokai group was already there.

This is the Tokai group. They have a pretty flashy color lineup.

And here are the Kanto group. All the cars are in plain monotone except for one red one…↓

So, with the Tokai and Kanto groups lined up facing each other like this in the morning, it was an indescribably terrifying world of women.

"Where are you guys from?" the Kanto group responded with "You're not going to do it!" It was a tense moment from the morning.

Of course, that wasn't the case, and it was a happy morning meeting new people and meeting new people for the first time in a long time.

Among the Tokai group's Porsches, there are some that are filled with cats with big cats, which is very cute.

I was very happy to be able to meet the Tokai members, who I had only been able to see on social media until now.

This time, there was one person who participated from Osaka. The Porsche girls' gathering is expanding more and more. It seems that it will soon become a nationwide event with the message "If you can participate, please do!"

Finally, we set off for the main meeting point, Anest Iwata Observatory.

It was deeply moving to see that all of the Porsches lined up like this were owned by women, and I was moved every time I looked in front or behind.

Along the way, including on mountain passes, it seemed to me that the people in cars and on motorbikes we passed looked at us more than usual as if to say, "What? Are they all women?"

It may be that I'm being overly self-conscious, but there were many cars that were actually open, so it was obvious that the drivers of the many Porsches lined up were all women.

When I did that, everyone who passed by seemed to be like, "What? A woman? What? Again? What? Again? What? How many cars are coming?!"

Meet at Anest Iwata Observatory

Well, that's how we arrived at Anest Iwata.

This time, the parking lot of this venue was rented out exclusively for a Porsche girls' get-together.

It seemed like a gathering of Nissan-related people was taking place in the adjacent parking area (also reserved for private use).

Everyone was taking group photos with the GT-R and the new Z, and it was great to see the atmosphere next to us being so fun.

Everyone is enjoying their time with their favorite cars and their friends. We, the Porsche girls, are also having a good time together.

It was a truly wonderful time.

On this day, Mt. Fuji was visible from the morning onwards, and we were very grateful to the Porsche girls for their good behavior. They were truly a group of sunny girls. It was the best.

Everyone enjoyed taking photos with their cars and group photos with the beautiful Mt. Fuji in the background.

At Anest Iwata, you can also enjoy tea time in the lounge.

In the lounge, we introduced ourselves. Of course, you can introduce yourself by the name you want to be called (your SNS handle name or your real name), and no one is forced to do anything. It's a wonderful gathering.

Since it was such a good opportunity, a photo shoot was also held with the keys to a total of 18 Porsches - 17 female Porsches and one photographer Porsche.

What surprised me was that everyone except me had a Porsche crest keychain attached.

It's also nice that it comes in a variety of colors. I learned for the first time that limited edition colors have the word "limited" written on the back.

I use a key holder in the shape of 911. I like how everyone else has changed their key covers too.

After having fun at the Anest Iwata Sky Lounge and the observation deck parking lot, we moved on to our next location.

Next we headed to the lunch venue. It was really awesome to see all the Porsche girls driving together.

That's 17 Porsches for 17 Porsche girls. That's pretty impressive.

We arrived at a steak house.

The counter seating meant that everyone could sit in front of the hot plate, which was also great. Everyone enjoyed their lunch while drinking non-alcoholic beer, sparkling wine, and other drinks.

The meat being grilled right in front of you was fun, with a performance like "flames roaring" that is unique to teppanyaki.

The Porsche ladies also ate up the garlic rice that was served afterwards, which was packed with garlic.

After enjoying a delicious meal, we moved to the lounge next door for tea time.

After all, it's a girls' gathering, so it's important to have a place where we can chat and have fun.

Even though we were completely full, we still had room for dessert, so we had chiffon cake.

We were seated at two separate tables here, and at one table we heard a conversation about how "if you crush a chiffon cake it disappears almost entirely, so it's essentially calorie-free," when later we heard the exact same conversation from the table next to us, which made us laugh (laughs).

Here again, we were enjoying chatting with everyone about various things, and as a surprise, the photographer for the day developed the photos that each of us had taken at Anest and gave them to us as presents.

With everything becoming digital, it's great to have real memories like this. That's so wonderful. Thank you!

We had a great time chatting with everyone, but it was time to disband.

As long as there is no traffic jam, it takes about an hour and a half to get home to Tokyo, but for those living in the Tokai region (especially Osaka and Nagoya), it is still difficult as they have a long way to go before they have to get home.

The event ended at 3 p.m. and everyone said goodbye, promising to meet again.

On this day, it was already past 3pm when I arrived in Hakone, so I was prepared for heavy traffic on the way back to Tokyo, but surprisingly there was almost no traffic and I was able to get home exactly in an hour and a half as planned.

We started at 3:30 in the morning and spent about 12 and a half hours, covering a total distance of 350 km, making it a fun day of Porsche picnic, touring, and girls' night out.

I am always grateful for all the wonderful encounters I have had through Porsche, but I am especially happy that the circle of female owners is expanding in this way. I am inspired by meeting such wonderful, independent women, and feel happy every day that I had the opportunity to meet them.

I hope there will be opportunities for Porsche ladies to gather and chat freely and casually in the future.

Once again, we are very grateful to everyone who helped with the preparations. Thank you very much!
