For a while, the forecast was for heavy rain due to a typhoon on the weekend of this event, and I was wondering what would happen. It was a miracle that the weather was hot from the afternoon of June 3rd to the whole day of June 4th, even though the forecast was for "heavy rain all over".

Considering that it was a recovery from the typhoon forecast, I think it was a considerable miracle.

I think this is all because of the good deeds of the participants and the organizers and the strong desire to have a sunny day ^^

This time, I applied for June 3rd in the Porsche Festival frame and June 4th in the Porsche Garage frame.

On June 3rd (Saturday), I participated after the rain had stopped in the afternoon.

However, depending on the road, there are situations like this where you can understand that it was raining heavily.

Shuttle bus to Porsche Festival

Among those who participated in the Porsche Festival frame this time, many of those who came by car seemed to park in the parking lot of Kisarazu Aeon Mall and arrive by shuttle bus from there. It seems that some people have specified a parking lot for a company near PEC Tokyo.

It was a lot less than I expected, but I think there were many people who wanted to go but couldn't because there was a typhoon and heavy rain until just before.

By the way, the first day, June 3, was originally scheduled to start at 10:00, but due to bad weather the day before, we were informed that the start would be changed to 11:00. was

Lots of Porsche art cars

In front of the entrance is a rainbow-colored Taikan written as Driven By Dreams.

I thought it was exhibited in Taiwan a while ago, but I feel that the wheels are different, so I wonder if it was constructed in Japan with the same wrapping.

Recently, it seems that Porsche is also focusing on art, and as soon as you enter the building entrance, there is a Taycan with art again.

Originally, the reception was supposed to be outside (6/4 was outside), but it was raining in the morning on the 3rd, so the reception on this day was on the 1st floor of the building at the Porsche Festival and Porsche Garage. reception.

At the reception, visitors were given wristbands to wear while they were in PEC Tokyo.

Two colors are available, a combination of “blue x purple” or “pink x yellow”. The difference in this color is that the person wearing "purple and pink" is the person who will be driving when returning from PEC Tokyo that day, and the person wearing "blue and yellow" is "a passenger or a person who does not drive" ”.

This time, beer was also sold in PEC Tokyo, so there was a distinction between those who could buy (drink) alcohol and those who could not.

Our family first discussed which one should wear the color for the driver here (laughs).

Oh yeah, there was a Taikan in the middle of the building where something was drawn on the body, which is usually a space for car maintenance.

Historical Porsche model exhibition

Passing through the building, in the area where cars for PEC's driving program are usually lined up, many historical Porsche models were lined up on this day.

There were BOSE and Michelin booths outside, and Bibendum-kun was there too. Bibendum-kun, who was dancing with excitement, was cute, but his eyes were a little scary (laughs).

Now, I would like to finally head to an area that is usually inaccessible on foot.

Normally, PEC Tokyo is only accessible by car, but on this day, I was able to walk around various places, so it was a new experience.

Porsches of the owners of the Porsche Garage participation frame are lined up in the so-called outer course called the handling track.

The main stage was usually set up in an area where you could experience the kick plate.

On the right hand side of the main stage is an exhibition of "RWBA", which was created in collaboration with Lauvelt Begriff (RWB) and artist Daniel Arsham.

Furthermore, in the back, there is an exhibition of wrapping cars with motifs of the three main characters in "Kanojo no Carrera", a work by manga artist Kia Asamiya.

There were many other exhibitions of many valuable Porsches (why don't you post pictures).

A little past the main stage, there were many kitchen cars lined up there, and one of the kitchen cars was a school bus. pretty.

We participated in the event for a short time from the afternoon of June 3rd, and we were able to meet a lot of people during that short time.

Reunion with many people I met through Porsche connections, and people I hadn't met yet, but I was finally able to meet on this day.
