New Cayenne radically overhauled
On April 18, 2023, the newly overhauled 3rd generation Cayenne was announced at the Shanghai Motor Show.
In addition, pre-orders for the new "Cayenne", "Cayenne S" and "Cayenne E-Hybrid" will also start at Porsche Japan from April 18th.

- Introducing a new air quality system
- Standard model uses predictive navigation data to detect tunnels and automatically activate air recirculation

More powerful hybrid model with electric trailing range of up to 90km
- In Europe, the new Cayenne comes in three different versions
- Cayenne S replaces the V6 engine so far with a 4-liter V8 twin turbo developed by Porsche
- The Cayenne S delivers 474 hp (PS) and 600 Nm of torque (34 hp and 50 Nm more torque than its predecessor).
- 0-100km for both Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe is 4.7 seconds
- Maximum speed 273km/h
- The 3-liter V6 turbo engine model has a maximum output of 353 hp (PS) and 500 Nm of torque (13 hp and 50 Nm more torque than the previous model).
- The 6-cylinder engine is also the base of the Cayenne E-Hybrid powertrain
- Combined with a new 130 kW (176 horsepower) electric motor, which has increased by 30 kW, the total output is 470 horsepower (PS).
- Equipped with a high-voltage battery with capacity increased from 17.9 kWh to 25.9 kWh depending on the equipment level, enabling a cruising range of up to 90 km (WLTP) on electricity alone.
- New 11kW on-board charger cuts its charging time to less than 2.5 hours when charging from a suitable power source despite increased battery capacity
- Optimized e-Hybrid driving modes increase vehicle efficiency while driving
- In most countries outside Europe, the Turbo GT, designed for maximum on-road performance, will be the top model in the Cayenne range.
- The Turbo GT is available as a coupe only and benefits from the optimization and innovation of the entire model series.
- Turbo GT's 4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine output is 659 horsepower (PS), up 19 horsepower from before
- Cayenne Turbo GT 0-100 km 3.3 seconds, maximum speed 305 km
