The tires are optional Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires (this is the tire for both the regular GT3 and the Mantai Kit GT3 for Nürburgring).

What is Manthey Performance Kit?

What this Manthey Performance Kit is like is that it basically focuses on the components of aerodynamics and chassis and makes changes.

The kit was developed by a Porsche engineer in Weissach and a Nürburgring specialist in Manthey in Meuspath.

The kit will be sold through the Porsche Center.

Downforce increases tremendously

Manthey Performance Kit! A quick sign is the modified aero package, with a large spoiler lip and side flaps on the front of the car.

In combination with the air guide element on the underbody, the downforce of the front axle is increased.

Furthermore, the change in the rear is more remarkable, and the rear wing of the swan neck, which is also a feature of the 992 type Porsche 911 GT3, is wider and has a tear-off edge (Gurney flap).

The end plate with the Mantai logo is also larger than the angle of attack of the wing.

The fins of the rear diffuser are also larger and are made of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics. By the way, the rear aero disc is also made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic, which seems to further improve the efficiency of aerodynamics.

In collaboration with Mantai, Porsche has developed a 4-way coil over suspension (circuit usable). Suspension struts can be adjusted to 4 positions, and rebound and compression can be fine-tuned without tools.

The change in spring rate, which is 10% high at the front axle and 7% low at the rear, contributes to improved handling at the limit ... but it seems that there is no problem with everyday usability ^ ^

Adaptive coil over suspension

The Porsche 911 GT3 comes with optional lightweight 20-inch and 21-inch forged wheel sets that reduce unsprung weight by a total of 7.3 kg. Available in brilliant silver, dark silver, neodymium, and satin-finished black.

The Manthey Performance Kit comes standard with a set of brake lines with steel blades. Specially, racing brake pads are also available as an option in this kit.

I don't think I needed it (laughs), but it also comes with a door projector with the Manthey logo and a glowing door sill guard.

The tow loop is also included in the kit.

So, the Manthey Performance Kit is now available for order from European customers via the Porsche Center. Delivery will start in the fall of 2022.

The price in Europe is "37,911 euros (about 5.26 million yen)".

After that, it is said that it will be offered to other markets, so it seems that it is still a while before it can be purchased in Japan.

Oh, and even with this Manthey Performance Kit, the Porsche 911 GT3's manufacturer's warranty is normally valid.
