The already released T-Hybrid system is said to indicate that Porsche is not planning to replace the 911 with a fully electric vehicle, but rather will continue to use an internal combustion engine.

Therefore, the 911 will remain unchanged for the time being (ICE + T-Hybrid).

Porsche has also been developing synthetic fuels as another way to extend the lifespan of its internal combustion engines, but according to Schmollinger, that technology is still far from becoming mainstream.

And as you know, the 718 models were the first two-door sports cars to be fully electric.

According to overseas media, Porsche's initial release of the 718EV will likely serve as a benchmark to gauge whether customers are "ready to accept" Porsche's electric sports cars.

While there are requirements such as achieving zero emissions, the current low demand for EVs means that for Porsche, converting the 911 to a fully electric vehicle is simply not realistic at this time. This is good news for Porsche fans who don't want the 911 to be electrified.
