Reunion event held between the 16th and 17th editions
The 16th Morning Mission was held on Sunday, May 19th, 2024, but the following month, on Sunday, June 16th, 2024, instead of the 17th Morning Mission, an event called "Reunion" was held.
When this "Reunion" theme? Event? was announced, I didn't really think much of it, but now that I look at it more closely, I see that it's written as "Reunion" in Japanese, and when I think about what "Reunion" means, it means "reunion."
I don't think the application requirements for this reunion event included "participating in the Morning Mission in the past," so when I heard it was a reunion I didn't really think much of it, but as the theme of the event, "reunion," suggests, the nearly 300 Porsches and/or their owners who gathered at PEC Tokyo that day were people who had participated in the Morning Mission in the past.
...I only realized this after the event had ended (lol).
In fact, after the event, PEC Tokyo posted on Instagram, "Nearly 300 Porsches that have participated in the past 16 Morning Missions filled PEC Tokyo."
I see, so it really was a reunion in the truest sense of the word (obviously).
On this day, there was also an event where participants took part in a parade run on the PEC Tokyo handling truck, and it was quite impressive that about 300 cars took part in the course. It was packed with Porsches.
There also seemed to be an optional demonstration lap experience available.
The guest speakers on the day were racing driver Shinji Nakano and motor journalist Yuko Iida.
I wasn't able to attend due to a conflict with the date, but judging from the photos, it looks like you were blessed with great weather, which is great (it looks like it rained a little on the way, but it didn't look like it) ^^
The next Morning Mission will return to normal style and is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 21, 2024.

I'm sure there will be another Morning Mission this year, followed by a Reunion next year.
Morning Mission has become an event unique to PEC Tokyo, and I think it's great. I haven't been able to go for a long time because the schedule didn't work out, so I'd like to go again.
