A work of art has been released that depicts the new Macan EV, a fully electric SUV, in traditional Japanese calligraphy.
The title of the work is "Miyabi - electric -".
At the event where this work was unveiled, about 100 new Macan owners from all over the country gathered.

I wonder if all the new Macan owners mentioned here are EV Macan owners? If so, it's pretty amazing that more than 100 owners (of the car) from all over the country have already gathered together.
It's also amazing that everything, including Tokyo Tower, is painted in Provence colors.
In addition, Jörg Kerner, Head of Macan Product Line from Porsche AG, also attended the event and gave a presentation on the new Macan.

The event venue is Zojoji Temple, located right next to Tokyo Tower.
The calligraphy artwork for this event was created by calligrapher/artist Yuna Okanishi, and was completed as a live performance during the event.
The Chinese character for "miyabi" (elegant) is painted in gold on a canvas overlaid with the word "electric" in an arrangement of the Provence color (light purple), which is the communication color of the EV Macan.

Even so, it's really amazing to be able to draw beautiful calligraphy on such a large scale live in front of so many people. I think it's very wonderful.
By the way, Yuna Okanishi is also the owner of the previous generation Macan, and she said that although the curves of a Porsche and the curves of calligraphy are expressed on different stages, the origin of their beauty is the same.

He also visited the Porsche Experience Center Tokyo, where he experienced the full lineup of the latest models and deepened his understanding of Porsche.

It is still fresh in our memory that at the Tokyo Marathon, which was held recently and for which Porsche Japan was an official partner, the Porsche vehicles that appeared had words such as "Leader" and "Chief Judge" on the front, and these words also belong to Okanishi.

The current work, "Electric" will be held at Makuhari Messe from April 11th (Fri) to 13th (Sun) 2025.Automobile Council 2025It will be exhibited at the Porsche Japan booth (Hall 9).

If you're attending Automobile Council 2025, you'll have the chance to see this impressive piece up close!
I want to go too, but I wonder if I can go.
