Taycan also receives top rating for the second consecutive year
According to the results of the APEAL Study conducted by American research company J.D. Power and released on July 25, 2024, Porsche ranked first in the premium category.
"APEAL Study" is an abbreviation for "Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout."
This is the eighth time in 10 years that Porsche has topped the survey.
Furthermore, the Taycan also took the top spot in the upper midsize premium category for the second consecutive year.
On a 1,000-point scale, Porsche received 891 points. Its average points in the premium brands category was 870. Second place in the category was Jaguar (886 points) and second was Land Rover (882 points).
In terms of car type (model), the Porsche 911 came in second in the premium sports car category.
Also ranked in the SUV compact premium SUV category was the Macan.
The APEAL study is based on responses from 2024 model year new car buyers and leasers between July 2023 and May 2024, and the survey was conducted 90 days after ownership.
