Hot Wheels produces miniature cars of various manufacturers and models, but this new car they just released - what is this? I really want it!!
It's not a Porsche, and we don't even know what kind of car it is, but this is a work that is said to have been created in collaboration between Hot Wheels and the fashion brand MSCHF.

Do you understand?
These are the kind of cars you see in America, where you see "these kind of cars parked on the streets" or "students driving them around in a dirty, worn-out condition," that are barely maintained and that make you think, "I don't really know what's going on, but this kind of thing is common."

The price is apparently $30, but I'm sure it will be expensive. I don't want to resell it, I just want to get it, but it seems difficult.
The release date is August 30th, 2024, starting at 11:00am on the West Coast of the US (4:00am on August 31st, 2024, Japan time).
It was a fantastic mess, with mismatched body panels and wheels, one tire missing, shoddy body repair work, broken glass, and stripes missing from the hood.

And yet it is actually made with great intricacy, with a parking ticket on the windscreen (which is also common in cars with this image!), the bumper attached with a string (?), graffiti that says "WASH ME" on the dusty rear window, and what appears to be an unwrapped seatbelt dangling from the door - all these little details.
It's so cute. It's exactly the kind of car that makes you think, "I know, I've seen this car so many times!", so I think it will be popular with Americans and so on.
