I met Porsche's fully electric Macan for the first time.
Ahhh, I've been busy with a lot of things and before I knew it, about two weeks have passed since the event.
This is a story from a while ago, but I participated in the EV Macan preview event at Porsche Studio Nihonbashi, so I'd like to talk about that time.
Normally, the cool Porsches on display inside the Porsche Studio Nihonbashi can be seen from the outside, but when I visited at the appointed time on this day, it was completely different from usual: "Nothing can be seen from the outside."
On this day, the store will be unveiling the new fully electric Porsche Macan.
To be honest, I didn't even know this event was taking place, but to my great gratitude, someone I knew through a message on social media invited me.

So, at first I was nervous about participating in an event with people I was meeting for the first time, but everyone at Porsche Studio Nihonbashi knew each other, so it was very natural to meet in such an environment, and I had a very enjoyable time throughout the event.
All themed on Provence colors
The color announced as the iconic color for the EV Macan is a pale purple color called "Provence," so the theme color for this event will also be pale purple Provence.
At the event that day, there was also an invitation to wear Provence colors on any part of your outfit if possible.
The staff at Porsche Studio Nihonbashi have also incorporated Provence colours in some way, which is lovely.
The lighting in the store and the flowers on display were inspired by the colors of Provence.
First up in the studio before the unveiling was a string duo that had been formed specifically for the occasion, who performed a beautiful duet.
What an elegant time.
EV Macan Unveiled
And finally the time came to unveil the EV Macan.
The Provence-colored EV Macan, which I had only seen in images and videos until now, was right in front of me!
Perhaps because I was already familiar with the design from images, the exterior of the EV Macan looked more natural than I expected.
It was cool!!
It has a slightly more "evil-looking" face than previous Macans (which makes it cool).
If you look at it from the front, it feels like you're glaring at it (but that's cool).
I had been curious about this Porsche's electric car-like lights, and I assumed they would have the same design as the Taycan, since it's also an EV, but when I looked closely they were completely different.
If you look closely, you can see that each of the four parts has two parts each.
In the photo below, the EV Macan is on the left and the Taycan is on the right (the one with the most similar design), but when you compare them like this, you can see that they are completely different.
Still, what's great is that the design of the lights makes it instantly recognizable to everyone that it's a Porsche EV.
These four distinctive LED lights are apparently daytime running lights, and the actual headlights are located further below them.

By the way, when you turn on your turn signal, the four lights mentioned above will flash.
This EV Macan was a Macan Turbo, so the Crest was also included.Turbo Knight..
Air curtains and a low-slung front end are said to optimise airflow.
The EV Macan will be equipped with wheels up to 22 inches in size.
The crest on the wheel centre of the EV Macan Turbo is also Turbo Knight.
Porsche's signature flyline is integrated into the flat rear window, while lateral tear-off edges and a louvered diffuser ensure aerodynamic efficiency.
There is also something like an air outlet under the rear light.
It may seem obvious, but there is no muffler.

This car had the optional roof rails.
The side blades are also a distinctive feature unique to the EV Macan.
I would also like to see the interior of the car.
Although it depends on the model and equipment, the driver's seat and passenger seat are 28mm lower than before, and the rear seats are 15mm lower, increasing legroom.
The ignition is a switch (push button type).
Although we were unable to confirm this on the day, the EV Macan is also equipped with a head-up display using AR technology.

Not all switches were digitalized, some were still analog.

When I opened it, it slid open at an angle and I was able to charge my smartphone just by placing it inside.

A key holder in the glove box?
That's right, recently I've started to check the following:Presence of a pen holder in the glove box" However, this time I once again took a look inside the glove box of the EV Macan.
Here it is!
...Huh?
Hmm? ??
There was a pen holder on the right side. But, what's that on the left?!
This is new. I've never seen it before.
A new key holder suddenly appears in the glove box of the EV Macan? What is it?
Porsche is a car that continues to confuse me in many ways (laughs).
I was also shown the key for the EV Macan, which clearly cannot be placed in the key-like spot in the glove box, and this too had changed a bit compared to previous models.
That said, I've never held a Macan key so I can't say for sure, but I can see that there are no gaps (gap) between the pictures of the central lock and unlock.
It was a very happy day for me to have the opportunity to see the EV Macan, which I had always wanted to see.
Even after the EV Macan was unveiled, they performed an elegant duet together, and it was a wonderful time.
Of course, alcohol was served, so I just drank wine.
Finger foods are also available, and they are all basically designed with the colors of Provence in mind.
The lighting may make it a little hard to see, but both dishes incorporated the color purple and were delicious in appearance and taste.
Meals and other things were prepared by Resort Trust. The service was excellent and the food was delicious and the best. Thank you very much ^^
I was so busy drinking and chatting with the person who invited me to this event that I didn't notice until I was leaving at the end, but there were also some finger foods prepared for us.
Being able to enjoy a drink while looking at the EV Macan was just the best event for me.
I was fine when I entered the bar, but by the time I left I was just drunk. Sorry (lol).
However, thanks to the people who invited me, everyone at Porsche Studio Nihonbashi, and the people at Resort Trust, I had a very enjoyable time.
I even got a souvenir.
It was wrapped in a black package and Provence-colored cloth.
This black package is a catalog for the EV Macan.
And the cloth one was a dorayaki with rum (rum raisins) called Ramudora.
I think the choice was based on the color purple, but it's stylish. Porsche Studio Nihonbashi has great taste.
It was a day where I was grateful for meeting the EV Macan and for the wonderful encounters I made through this blog (SNS).
