Police checkpoint for drunk driving
At this time, I was driving my husband, but when I was running at night, I saw something in front of me.
yeah? What is it? Breakdown car? construction?
Hmm? police…? ?? Inspection? ??
Oh. It was an inspection. I was a little nervous because I don't remember being stopped because of this. Even though I haven't done anything wrong, I'm nervous for no reason, saying, "What if I get caught!" (Laughs).
It was an alcohol (drunk driving) inspection. Somehow, I was offered a white device like an alcohol checker and said, "Please breathe here!"
Of course, I didn't drink alcohol, so the moment my husband said "Huh!", He said "Hi! Thank you!" Really, it ends at the same time as I exhale. That's why I understand ...
Drunk driving inspection is at the center of Aoyama Cemetery (Aoyama Cemetery)
By the way, here, it is a straight road from the Nezu Museum to Nogizaka through the center of the Aoyama Cemetery (the road that passes through the center of Aoyama Cemetery). We feel like we are passing through the middle of such a reien at night (laughs), but the police who are being inspected there are also having a hard time ...
I love alcohol, but I can't believe I drink and drive. That's absolutely naive!
For example, it is imprinted at school from the time of junior high school to high school that "DWI" (Driving While Intoxicated) is not good overseas. Nowadays, it seems that people who are called "DUI" (Driving Under the Influence = drunk driving / drugs) are more major.
However, in the United States and other countries, the culture of being okay even if you drink and drive a few drinks is still rooted, so I can't say anything.
However, I am grateful that (in Japan) such inspection activities have created a safer environment.
While saying that, it's true that I'm still thrilled to be extremely nervous when I see or stop the police. Why am I so nervous when I haven't done anything wrong? (Laughs).
Anyway, the first drunk driving inspection was a thrilling but fresh experience!
