Races held at Porsche Sports Cart Together Day 2019
The highlight of the Porsche Sportscar Together Day 2019 held at Fuji Speedway from June 15th to 16th, 2019 is the race.
This time, the following races were held during these two days.
[Porsche Sportscar Together Day 2019 Race Program]

- Porsche Esports Racing Japan Season 1
First of all, a brief overview of these four races held.
① Porsche Carrera Cup Japan (PCCJ)
This race, which is celebrating its 19th year, is the highest Porsche one-make race in Japan with the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Car. The tires are also Michelin one-make.
In other words, it is strictly stipulated that both "cars" and "tires" run under the same conditions, so it is purely the "driver's arm" and "team power" that determine the outcome of the race.
Drivers will compete in two classes, the "overalls" for all drivers, including professional drivers, and the "gentleman class" for amateur drivers.
In this FSW, two races (Carrera Cup Japan Rounds 7 and 8) will be held, and the starting grid of the final will be the best lap order of the qualifying for the first race and the second best order of the qualifying for the second race.

"Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Japan", which was held as a step-up category to Porsche Carrera Cup Japan, has changed this year to "Porsche Sprint Challenge Japan".
There are four types of PSCJ classes:
- According to the 2014-2016 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Type991:GT3-I Class
- According to the 2010-2013 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Type997:GT3- II Class

This last "GT4 class" will be a new class added from this year. All tires are Michelin one-make.

Porsche Carrera Cup Japan & Asia
Well, it's not like the actual race, but first of all, I would like to write a little about the time when I saw the first "Porsche Carrera Cup" out of the four types of races held ^ ^
No, there were already a lot of cars of general customers participating in the event, but there were also big trucks with "CARRERA CUP" written on them. I was waiting.
It seems that they are carrying various things related to the cup car of those who participate in the Porsche Carrera Cup and so on. Somehow, just looking at such trucks and loaded vehicles makes me excited. Where does such a big truck usually stop?
Moreover, if you look closely, the yellow circles are, hmm, this, the front bumper? ?? It's amazing!
For me as an ordinary person, exchanging the front bumper is not something that I do, so even just such a thing makes me think "It's a race".
The tires are full of so-called grooveless slick tires.
This time, I watched the Carrera Cup from the lounge (Crystal Room).
Before the race, a grid walk was also held, so everyone was able to walk to the course.
When I got an OK saying "It's okay to enter", everyone went into the course all at once.
Cars will also come there.
This grid walk is fun no matter how many times I go ^^ The cars that I see nearby and say "I'm going to race now!" Are really cool.
Oh yeah, is it a race queen this time? , The older sisters also came here and there.
However, it seems that there were fewer cameramen flocking to the older sisters than usual. Maybe I was a little lucky for those who wanted to shoot ^^?
Michelin Man also appeared. It was hot on this day, so I'm sure Michelin was too hot. It's hard ~.
As I wrote earlier, I watched the Carrera Cup race from inside the crystal room, but at the first start and when the car returned to the home straight, I watched it through the glass.
At first, I was sitting down and watching the race on a large screen while drinking drinks (the photo below is a video of the parade run, so the video is different ^ ^), but as I gradually watch the race I wanted to see it even closer, and in the end I ended up standing up and watching it in front of the TV (laughs).
Moreover, since the big screen was only on the wall side, I dared to watch the game by moving to this monitor hanging from the ceiling ↓
That way, when the car is not straight, you can watch the game through the screen, and when the cars return straight, you can see the actual car running through the glass in front of you ^ ^
In Round 7, I participated the other dayPorsche Truck Experience (PTE)Ryo Ogawa, who was an instructor at the event, was excited to run for the championship.
At that time, I was in 2nd place ... but in the 8th round, I was even more excited to win the championship. By the way, in the 8th round of Carrera Cup Japan, it was Porsche Japan's President Shichigosanki who was touched by the checkered flag ^ ^
I didn't tell Mr. Ogawa directly at PTE, but I think that the instructor of the program I participated in a few days ago is challenging the Carrera Cup in front of me, so I support him. I got a fever ^^ Congratulations! !!
For the Carrera Cup Asia, I just had a briefing for the parade run I participated in, and I was doing other things, so I didn't have time to watch the actual game. disappointing.
However, I was able to see a little bit of the appearance of being lined up for the run before the race.
The crocodile I found (?) At that time! !!
I understand? There is a crocodile in the green Porsche. It's cute! !!
I'm sorry I haven't touched on the details of the race at all ^^ I hope you can check the details of the race on the Porsche official website.

By the way, there was a shield like this in the back of the crystal room.
After that ... I found that there was a media center in the same building as the Crystal Room. I've never seen it, so I took a peek.
When I looked from the outside, the inside of the media center looked like this, and I don't really understand the impression that "Oh, it's kind of like a media center!" (Laughs), but it's kind of cool ^^
Professional writers may be watching the race from this room, and the content may be immediately uploaded to the media from such a place.
Somehow, despite the fact that there were many events this time around, I was able to take a leisurely look around these places, and it was a very fresh FSW experience.
Then, is this my main event? To watch the Porsche Sprint Challenge Japan, which can be said to be.
picture? Is it still going on? Yes, it continues (laughs).
