Was this published by Italian media due to a mistake?
The "Porsche 911 GT3 SC," which is likely the Porsche 911 GT3 Cabriolet model, is finally scheduled to be officially announced in just a few days.
SC is said to be an abbreviation for Sport Cabriolet.
Just the other day, on the Porsche Japan website...I found that a URL with this model name already exists.Just when I thought this model was pretty much confirmed, the Italian car media outlet "Quattroruote" seems to have made a mistake and published a photo of the GT3 SC.
Currently, there are no links to photos on the Quattroruote homepage or in articles, nor are the photos themselves displayed. However, you can see two photos by going to the following direct link (as of noon on April 11, 2026 / this may be taken down later).

So, it seems possible that photos were uploaded in a sequence like "Porsche 911 GT3 SC 00, Porsche 911 GT3 SC 01, Porsche 911 GT3 SC 02," right?
Being the weirdo I am, there was no way I wouldn't try this, so I did try it from 00 up to 50 (lol).
However, the only URLs that appeared were the two mentioned above, 01 and 36.
If you have the time, please try out 51 or more, and I'd love to hear about any discoveries you make (lol).
Incidentally, Porsche officially released additional information yesterday, and according to that information, the rev limit for the announced 911 model will be 9,000 rpm.
Furthermore, since the color of the model shown on the official Instagram account is similar to the color of the car in the leaked image, it seems likely that the leaked image is an official one that will be used after the official announcement.
