Shohei Otani's Taycan also has active ride suspension

A while ago, Shohei Ohtani made headlines when he pranked Dodgers manager Roberts with a Miami blue Porsche for kids.

And today, it was in the news that Coach Roberts had gotten revenge on Ohtani.

The director's prank - or rather, the trick - was to stuff a lot of toy rubber balls with his own face pasted on them into Otani's Porsche Taycan.

When Otani opens the door to get in the car, balls start rolling out of the Taycan.

What is Porsche Active Ride Suspension?

This is the Porsche Active Ride suspension from the new Taycan (from MY24) (also available from the new third-generation Panamera).

This function combines air suspension and active hydraulic dampers to keep the vehicle body level at all times during normal cornering, acceleration, and braking, but it also automatically and quickly raises and lowers the vehicle height for easy entry when getting in and out of the car.

I was so happy to see Porsche's features in an unexpected place (laughs).

The easy entry system, which raises and lowers the vehicle height when you get in, may be the best system for tall people like Mr. Otani.
