Porsche x Frausche eFantom
The electric sports boat jointly developed by Porsche and Frauscher has won two of the most important awards in Europe.
The electric sports boat, the 850 Fantom Air, is equipped with technology from Porsche's Macan Turbo and has been praised as the result of a collaboration between two innovative and traditional companies, with the drivetrain and some design elements provided by Porsche, and the hull and deck provided by Austria's Frauscher Shipyards.
The Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air won the Powerboat of the Year award in the electric category at boot Düsseldorf 2025, the world's largest boat and water sports trade fair.
In addition, in November 2024, it will win the Best of Boat award in the Best Electric category, one of the most prestigious powerboat awards in Europe, at Boot & Fun held in Berlin.
Porsche, a major sports car manufacturer, and Austria's Frauscher, a company with a tradition of electric boat manufacturing, have combined the best of both worlds to create the first electric boat that combines the performance of a fast and elegant day cruiser with the latest electric drive.
The Porsche x Frauscher collaboration already has a second product, a classic runabout with a closed foredeck and cabin.850 Phantom" will have its world premiere at "boot Düsseldorf 2025".
Of course, this also uses the Macan Turbo's drive architecture.
