GIRO Japan Dinner Time

After arriving at the hotel and relaxing for a while, we headed over to the aperitivo area where we could have a light drink before dinner.

Enjoy beer, champagne, wine and more while gazing at the beautiful Okinawan ocean.

People who had already met at previous GIRO events were enjoying their long-awaited reunion and catching up, which was a wonderful sight.

Then it was time for dinner, so we moved to the dinner venue.

...and then, in front of the main stage, there was a car that looked like a Lamborghini (well, of course it was a Lamborghini (lol)).

Seating at dinner parties was pre-arranged.

I sat down where my name tag was. I didn't know who I would be sitting with until that moment, so it was exciting and fun to meet someone by chance.

The dinner party began with an MC, apparently a radio personality, although I wasn't able to catch his name.

The event starts with a powerful performance of Japanese drums.

The event started with a speech and a toast from the CEO of Lamborghini Japan, in which he said:

"Today, as I was following everyone else as they ran, I saw children passing by on the street jumping for joy when they saw Lambo. We too always have dreams about Lambo. Just like the dreams the children had, our goal is to keep the dreams inside Lambo alive, to make sure that the dreams continue to live on."

That's what he said.

In fact, it seems that the time we returned from our tour that day coincided with the time when elementary schools and other schools were dismissing students, and many of the children got very excited whenever they saw the group of Lamborghinis, shouting "Lamborghini!!", waving their hands, and actually jumping for joy.

When we waved back, everyone was smiling, which was so cute and made us feel very happy.

Seeing the kids like that, their genuine joy at seeing a cool Lamborghini, and the fact that we ourselves are genuinely in love with Lamborghinis and love Lamborghinis, all overlapped and it was an incredibly happy moment for us.

We're glad that children have had dreams inspired by Lambo, and we too continue to have dreams inspired by Lambo.

Oh no. This is supposed to be a Porsche blog, but now I'm completely dominated by Lambo (lol). Please forgive me for a little infidelity.

Revuelto, the first to arrive in Okinawa

After the toast, there was an attack video, and then the car that had been parked in the venue was finally unveiled.

Boom!!

The Lamborghini Revuelto was unveiled with smoke and laser effects.

The purple version is super cool. Seriously, it's really cool.

Revuelto has already had a debut event in Japan. However, it turns out that the Revuelto that was exhibited at press conferences prior to this day was actually a prototype, and this is the real Revuelto, meaning that this is the very first Revuelto to arrive in Japan.

Therefore, there is also a "Warning! Caution: High Temperature" sticker on the rear, which was not present on the prototype. Hehe.

It was airlifted from Italy to Japan and then travelled across the sea to Okinawa.

I can't believe I can meet Revuelto in Okinawa Prefecture.

Wow, that's really cool.

It's love at first sight.

I will post the photos of Revuelto that I took that day at the end of this blog.

It was a wonderful dinner party with a view of the Revuelto.

Before dinner began, someone from Ryukyu Hotel gave us an introduction to the Okinawan ingredients that were featured on the dinner menu.

It was a wonderful dinner course that made generous use of ingredients representative of Okinawa Prefecture.

The fish was red sea bream, Ishigaki beef sirloin, etc. Both were very delicious.

Of course, alcohol keeps coming out.

The pairing course included white and red wines to go with the food. It was fantastic.

The entertainment while dining was a perfect Okinawa experience. Okinawa entertainment was programmed for this day.

First up is Yotsudake, a classical Ryukyu dance.

Next up was the lion dance, which has been performed for 400 years to pray for good health and a good harvest. The lions in Okinawa are all hairy!

The lion dance was powerful, but also very cute, with the way they waggled their tails.

Next is Okinawa Karate.

Next, Ryukyu Kobudo.

In addition, the traditional Eisa dance, which is said to have a history of 500 years, will begin.

The traditional Eisa performance alone was moving, but I was even more moved by the contemporary creative Eisa performance that followed.

The sense of dynamism was amazing, and I was deeply moved by the power of the performance, the sound, and everything else. I truly felt the essence of Okinawa with my whole body.

I am grateful for the entertainment program that showed us Okinawan culture at its best.

It was wonderful.

Thank you so much for a truly wonderful performance. It was so moving that I was almost in tears.

Best of all, it was great to have the incredibly cool Revuelto right in front of us while watching all the wonderful programs and enjoying our meals.

We had the best dinner time.

Afterparty

The first day of GIRO seemed like it was over, but after dinner there was an after-party.

Move to a bar.

This also has a very nice atmosphere and is full of GIRO vibes.

There was also a DJ, an essential presence at any Lambo event.

The music that is always played at Lambo events is really great and I love the selection of songs. This day was no exception and the selection of songs was just great.

The after-party featured cocktails specially made for the occasion, as well as a variety of drinks and snacks.

I had already had quite a bit to drink during dinner time, but having some more drinks here put me in a great mood.

I had a great time with the couple I met at dinner, the couple they introduced me to, and the sales representative they served.

It was truly wonderful, fun, and wonderful to be able to make so many wonderful connections in an environment like this.

Everyone is really nice.

I don't usually get the chance to spend such a long time with the Cornes sales staff (the fact that there was alcohol involved was important lol), so it was a really enjoyable time that made me feel even closer to everyone at Cornes.

At first, I was a little nervous about participating in GIRO Japan because it was my first time, but by the end of the first night, I had already made many wonderful connections and found myself having a great time.

Now, I would like to post some photos of Revuelto that I took on that day.

Continuing with the records from the second day of GIRO Japan 2024.
