• At the Motorsport Center in Flacht, Germany, the TC01 was assembled in just 10 days.

• This test car (prototype), one was sent to a wind tunnel experiment to measure air flow, and the other was sent to a test track at the Weissach R & D Center.

• The original plan was to run only a few kilometers as a shakedown for this prototype, but in the end, racing driver Klaus Bachler decided to run the track 30 laps fully open ^ ^

• At this time, all the people involved in the test had goose bumps. I think I was impressed! !! So, this test was a great and successful test with very good feedback.

• After another four days of testing in Weissach, TC01 went to Europe. It was first tested at Lausitzring in Germany and then around the Monza circuit in Italy and racetracks in other countries.

• The purpose was to want to test on various circuits with different characteristics. The results provided a lot of feedback and was reflected in the final stages of development.

• In mid-2020, a pre-production car model was created at Zuffenhausen, following the TC01, which had already traveled thousands of kilometers on the circuit.

• This model was manufactured using the same assembly line as the other 911s and was very close to the final finished model.

• The main purpose of this new test car is to test drive over long distances, including the Nürburgring.

• The test was attended by Marco Holzer, Nürburgring record holder Lars Kern, Porsche Mobil1 Super Cup three-time winner Michael Ammermüller, and Porsche brand ambassador Jörg Bergmeister. Was.

• When selecting these test drivers, he wanted to hire people with different personalities.

• After hours of testing in all development tests, the 911 GT3 Cup Car Development Team headed to Motorsport Arena Oschersleben for a shakedown.

• At this point, the cup car was already similar to the production model and was camouflaged. The camouflage pattern used here seems to be the outline of the famous circuit.

• The test checked how the team would handle the new cup car.

• As a result of these extensive field tests, the cup car is already ready to race.

So, on December 12, 2020, the 992 generation Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Car will finally be officially unveiled.
