From the time of the preview of BMW's new 7 series and new 8 series held in June 2019, I have been asking "What will the Grand Coupe look like?" Every time I went, I was told about the Grand Coupe information that came out little by little.

And this time, I heard that the actual car of BMW M850i xDrive Grand Coupe is exhibited at BMW Group Tokyo Bay on the two weekends of November 2019, so I went there.

And! !! Long-sought! !! I met you, BMW 8 Series Grand Coupe.

Oh ~. Isn't it cool! !! !!

He looks really bad (a compliment ^^) and is intimidating! !!

Returning to this Grand Coupe, I also checked the back seats. The person sitting in the middle has to spread his legs and straddle the central part, but that's unavoidable, isn't it?

In terms of size, is it a little wider than the BMW 650i Grand Coupe I'm currently riding? How about? I felt like that.

It wasn't so dramatic that it was "Wow! It's completely different from the 8 Series!" However, if it is about the distance to move in Tokyo, 3 children can sit without problems ^ ^

The body color of the Grand Coupe exhibited this time is said to be "Frozen Blue Stone". It feels matte.

If it was this M850i Grand Coupe, I would have liked to see it in darker matte silver or matte black with white interior (that's a completely personal hobby ^^).

And the trunk ~. The shape has changed from the 650 Grand Coupe, so it feels a little strange. But, of course, it's not a problem, just because you're not familiar with it.

I'm glad I was able to meet the Grand Coupe, who wanted to take a closer look at the actual car!

BMW M850i xDrive Cabriolet

Earlier, I posted a few photos taken at the preview, but this time there was also a cabriolet, so I also saw that.

The cabriolet is also really cool! !!

And after all black BMW is cool! (Oh, I'm sorry, I just like black ^^)

Is it difficult to understand if it is a photo? Wind deflector ↓.

I would like to make it a cabriolet if possible, but in the case of a cabriolet, the back seats are too narrow, which is not realistic for my home, so unfortunately it is out of scope. sad.

BMW X7 xDrive35d Design Pure Excellence

Furthermore, I also saw the X7 diesel car, saying, "Isn't it convenient for a 7-seater if you don't care about the parking lot size?"

When I got into the car, there was only an SUV, and although it was large, it was tall, so I felt that I didn't have much resistance to driving.

Of course, when I look back, it's long, so I wonder if I can actually drive ...? ??

I was able to operate this car and screen with a motion sensor.

As you can see in the yellow circle, you can turn your finger around with a gesture to raise or lower the volume, and so on.

The back seats you care about are already clear without any problems!

Because, first of all, two people could sit comfortably in this back seat ...

In addition, there are two more seats behind it!

Moreover, I tried to sit in the two seats at the back of the seat, and it was quite comfortable. It's not that "stuffed in the back", but this just right narrowness is comfortable.

If it is a 7-seater, there is no problem in riding with a family of 5 people, and sometimes you can go out with your grandparents and friends, so even a parking lot where you can park this X7 If I could prepare it, I thought that X7 would be good too.

After fully enjoying the BMW 8 Series Grand Coupe, Cabriolet, and X7, the BMWs that were also on display at the place where the Grand Coupe was on display also enjoyed it.

Well, what should I do with my family car following the BMW 650i Grand Coupe? The BMW M850i Grand Coupe seems to be the most promising candidate at the moment, but hmm, I think it's better to use a used car instead of a new one.
