The last drive of Heisei and the first drive of Reiwa
At the end of Heisei, the beginning of Reiwa ... I had no plans to write it, but it became a new era, and as the days went by.
"Ah, but when the era changes, it's not something you can experience so much, so I think I should keep a record of it."
I started thinking.
Memories of the last Porsche drive in Heisei are with Bentay
My "Heisei last Porsche driving" is at this time ↓. There is a white 911 from the front, there is Aston Martin, there is Bentay ...
Yes, black Carrera quietly behind it! It fits completely inside Bentiga and I couldn't see it from a distance ^^
The size is completely different.
It was my last memory of my Porsche drive in Heisei that I stopped quietly next to Mr. Bentay while getting wet in the rain.
The last drive in Heisei is BMW 118i right-hand drive AT
Well, and. What was the last car I drove in Heisei? This is surprisingly "BMW 118i".
This BMW 118i is a car I rented, not owned at home. The unexpected ending of the last drive in Heisei with the car you rented (... is it the ending?).
Even if you rent a car, it is not a rental car, but a "substitute car" for various reasons.
The white 1 series was cute! Right-hand drive AT.
The tail is also chubby. It looked small, but it actually contained a lot of luggage. I tried to put three children in the back seat, but it was not narrower than I expected, and surprisingly the children were sitting side by side and riding, so my husband and "The next family car to buy is There may be no one in the series! "
Well, how was it when I actually drove it? I myself have a long history of BMW (the first car I bought when I was single was the BMW 318is, and after that, even after I got married, I changed to the 323i, 550i, 650i. I didn't hesitate to drive a BMW, and even the 118i was a fun car that seemed to be a "BMW".
Even if it was small, it wasn't fluffy and I was able to enjoy running as a "BMW".
Mr. 118i, the steering wheel was a little light, so I wasn't used to it, so the car sometimes became fluffy, but that was only for the first moment until I got used to it.
The lower part of the instrument is all LCD.
The only thing I was interested in riding the BMW 118i was that I was sitting and my body was often touched from side to side.
I thought this was not because there wasn't much side support for the seats, but because the material of the seats I borrowed this time was "slippery".
This part with a amiami-like pattern in the middle of the sheet was slippery ↓
So, even when I was in the passenger seat, even if it wasn't a big curve, I felt like my body was being taken to the left and right when I turned ... No ^^
By the way, I would like to step on this 118i max. Display sports and check (I'm sorry for blurring ...) ↓
This BMW 118i is an in-line 3-cylinder 1.5-liter turbo. I heard later that if it is 3 cylinders (not BMW), the number of cylinders is odd, so it seems that vibration and noise may occur, but I do not understand at all. It was. Rather, I think that this BMW probably did not produce such vibration and noise.
As I was driving normally, I was in a good mood and thought, "BMW is a good car." And since it's a big deal, I also tried using the convenient functions that come with this car.
Automatic parking with the parking assist function on the BMW 118i
That is here ↓ The P mark in the yellow circle.BMW parking assist function..
If you turn this on and drive slowly near an empty space as a parking lot ... the car will detect the empty space.
You will be asked "Do you want to enter here?", So if you select parallel parking or parallel parking ...
BMW will turn the steering and guide the car to the designated parking lot (you need to step on the brake and accelerator yourself).
The car will specify "put the gear in the back" or "forward", so follow it.
Only the steering wheel feels like parking the car by spinning around without permission even if you let go of your hand.
Until you get used to it, it's a little scary, but please guide the car to the center of the parking lot without permission ...
When you guide the car into the parking lot, it will tell you that the parking operation is over.
Then, the car parked using the parking assist looks like this. It wasn't a parking lot with wheel chocks, but it was parked perfectly and neatly.
Even if you look left and right, the empty space from the line on the left side is about this ↓
And the empty space with the line on the right side is about this ↓
Perfectly in the middle! It ’s wonderful.
However, since it is first necessary for the car to be able to recognize the empty space that can be parked, it may be a little difficult to use when there are many cars in front and behind and looking for a parking space ...?
I didn't feel like running in the parking lot and immediately recognizing "Oh, it's vacant!"
Of course, it may be because I'm not used to the operation yet ... When it's crowded, it may be faster to stop by myself. But when you have time and space, it's a fun feature.
At the end of Heisei, I am grateful to have enjoyed the BMW 118i. It was fun & cute! !!
Even in the 1 series, I was able to run so firmly and with peace of mind, and after all I thought that BMW is a wonderful car ^ ^
Reiwa's first drive is Porsche 911 Carrera
Well then. Goodbye to BMW 118i, and finally on May 2nd, the day has come for me to be "Reiwa / First Driving".
In the new era, the first ride was the BMW 118i, but my first drive was Porsche 911 Carrera, which I love. I'm happy ^^
And when I first parked my car (outside), I met Mr. Shiro Carrera.
Oh. This was "Carrera T" of Porsche 911! !! Reiwa early, I'm kind of happy ^^
Porsche 911 was a wonderful start to Porsche life in Reiwa, where you can meet Carrera T of 991.2 suddenly.
I would like to continue to enjoy the life of Porsche in the new era. The tail light in front of this Carrera T is my 911 ^^ ↓
After that, I was next to the yellow Corvette, and I was very happy with Reiwa's first Porsche drive. Corvette is cool! !!
Well, I will continue to run around Tokyo! Thank you for your continued support ^^
