Porsche's annual press conference was held yesterday.Following the Q&A session, we were able to get some official statements from Porsche about future products.
The first thing that caught my attention was the future of the Cayenne.
The fourth-generation Cayenne will be a fully electric vehicle, and the Cayenne EV will be produced at the Bratislava plant in Slovakia and will be unveiled on the US West Coast at the end of 2025.

It's unusual that the location of the world premiere has already been announced when the film is still more than nine months away.
But since that has been stated so definitively, I think it's pretty much a given that the EV Cayenne will debut on the West Coast at the end of this year, unless something unexpected happens in the future.
And when the EV Cayenne is announced, will the ICE Cayenne come to an end at the same time? No, that won't be the case; it will continue to exist at least until the 2030s.

By the way, the fully electric 718 model was originally said to be announced before the Cayenne EV, but the announcement order has been switched with the Cayenne, and the EV Cayenne will be announced before the EV718.
Also, at this year's annual press conference, there was no mention of the model with the internal code name "K1," which is said to be a seven-seater model larger than the Cayenne, but which had previously been rumored to be released, so the future of the K1 is unclear.
However, there are rumors that they are developing a new SUV that could be a successor to the ICE Macan (but not the Macan), so I would like to write about this separately.
First of all, I'm looking forward to the arrival of the 4th generation Cayenne EV at the end of the year. And it's good news that the ICE Cayenne will continue to be sold for a while longer!
