Porsche sales in 2025 will be 279,449 units
Sales figures for 2025 have been announced.
The number of new Porsche cars sold worldwide in 2025 will be 279,449 units, down 10% from 2024 (310,718 units in 2024).
When announcing these figures, Porsche emphasized, "Well, we are value-oriented" (is that how they put it (lol)?).

Porsche's worldwide deliveries in 2025 will again be lower than the previous year, just like the previous year.
Porsche considers this to be expected, and the reason for this is
- Shortage of internal combustion engine 718 and Macan models
- Continued weakness in demand for luxury cars in China
- Porsche's value-driven supply management

The Macan recorded the highest sales of any model, with 84,328 units delivered, while North America continued to be the largest market, with 86,229 units delivered, the same level as last year.
Porsche also emphasized that it is repositioning itself for 2025, making strategic product decisions with an eye to the future and expanding its drivetrain strategy to include "internal combustion engines, plug-in hybrids and fully electric vehicles" to consistently meet the preferences of customers around the world.
Of the Porsche vehicles delivered worldwide in 2025, 34.41 TP1T (up 7.41 TP1T from the previous year) will be electrified models, with 22.21 TP1T being fully electric vehicles and 12.11 TP1T being plug-in hybrids.
This means that the global share of fully electric vehicles has reached the upper end of the 2025 target range of 20-221 TP1T.
For the first time in Europe, "electric vehicles outnumbered internal combustion engine vehicles in deliveries (57.91 TP1T)." One in three cars is now a fully electric vehicle.
A total of 51,583 911s with internal combustion engines and T-Hybrids were delivered worldwide, setting a new record.
North America is once again the largest sales region
North America was once again the world's largest sales region in 2025, with 86,229 units delivered, but the next strongest performers were overseas and emerging markets, with 54,974 units delivered, down 11 TP1T from the previous year.
In Europe excluding Germany, sales were down 131 TP1T compared to the previous year to 66,340 units, and what is most surprising is that in Germany alone, sales were down 161 TP1T compared to the previous year to just 29,968 units.
The reason for this decline in sales in Europe (Germany) is said to be a tightening of supply for the internal combustion engine 718 and Macan due to EU cybersecurity regulations.
The situation in China has not improved at all, with sales down 261 TP1T from the previous year to 41,938 units.

Macan did its best
By model, the Macan increased by 2% compared to the previous year to 84,328 units (of which 45,367 units were EVs, more than half).
This time, 911 deliveries increased by 1% compared to the previous year to 51,583 units, which is said to be a record number of deliveries for the 911.

Porsche in 2026
Based on the 2025 delivery figures, Porsche forecasts for 2026:
- Continue to carefully control supply and demand based on our "value over volume" strategy
- Taking into account the end of production of the 718 and Macan internal combustion engine models, the company is realistically planning sales figures for 2026.
- Continued investment in three-pillar powertrain strategy (internal combustion engine, hybrid, and full EV)
- Particular emphasis is placed on the customization field (Exclusive Manufaktur and Sonderwunsch), which responds to the desire for further individualization of customers.
