Let's make a Tesla cybertruck

Posted: December 18, 2019 Updated:

Paper craft is open to the public for free

Tesla's cybertruck, which has been making the world so crazy since it was announced the other day.

What's amazing about this car is that it's a "unprecedented, slightly unusual and futuristic design" that catches the eye.

This futuristic design is so crazy ... It was designed as a paper craft that you can easily download and make, and there was a person who released it for free.

Cybertruck paper craft designed by graphic designer / paper engineer Alex Josephine Gwynne. Free download is available from the following sites.

Cybertruck Paper Craft Free Download:  FoldUpToys.com

Access the above site and click "Download Project" to download the ZIP file.

When unzipped, it contains one png file for printing in A4 size and four Jpeg files for the completed drawing.

Print Cybertruck Design Sheet

A4 size is OK, so you can print with an ordinary printer.

For the time being, it is in color, so if possible, printing with a color printer will be more fun when it is completed, but I think that black and white printing is also good enough. I think the monotone finish is cool!

This is the rendering of the completed building ↓

Since it is a design without roundness, it may be a shape that is relatively easy to make for paper craft ^ ^

It seems that you can do it with a printer, scissors, and glue ...

I tried to make it even if I was clumsy ~ ^ ^

e? So are you a leisure person? No no. … Well, after all it ’s free (laughs)?

Cybertruck production

By the way, here is a paper craft design picture of A4 Cybertruck printed with an ordinary home printer at home.

This was ... "First, cut it along the red line", so I will cut it.

cutting sound…

Actually, even though it said "cut it with a red line", I was worried about the tire part or whether it was really okay to cut it with such a line, so I was told at first. I ignored that and cut it along the outer frame of the picture (I don't ask) ↓

Next, make creases and assemble.

It's surprisingly nice to bend along the line.

However, when I first folded it, I noticed that "Oh, I had to cut it with the red line" (laughs).

While assembling, I cut it again at the red line, but I wonder if it worked.

So it's done!

For a few minutes after I started folding, I thought, "Oh, does this take a while?" Lol).

I don't like glue very much (Petopeto-san ...), so this time I used tape from the back to stop the big part, and tape glue to stop the part that can be seen on the surface.

I think it took less than 10 minutes including the required time and printing.

It was a lot of fun because I was able to do it all at once from the moment I thought "Oh, I understand" on the way ^^

By the way, the size is like this. The scale of the orange Porsche 911 minicar being compared is 1/43.

With your kids ... No, for a little refreshment (?) How about creating your own Tesla Cybertruck?

It's pretty cute when it's done.

I'm still writing a blog with my own cybertrack in front of me (laughs). If you make it yourself, you will be attached to it and it will be cute ^^

Please try it by all means.
