A Porsche 356 Speedster-like car based on the Porsche 718
Stärke Motor Company, a builder based in Missouri, USA, has previously built a replica of the original Porsche Speedster based on the old Boxster.
About 10 years have passed since then, and now the same company has created a second-generation version.

The base Porsche for this project is said to be a 718 Boxster or 718 Cayman from 2017 onwards, which makes these 718s look like the Porsche 356.
Even just comparing the original Porsche 356 and 718, the 718 is clearly larger, so the design of the Stärke is said to have rather unconventional proportions, but it certainly looks like a 356.

Many of the exterior panels are said to be faithful reproductions of the original Speedster, including the original circular headlights and bulging wheel arches at the front end.

Since the basic structure of the car has been maintained, the car will retain the same driver assistance features, such as ADAS and electronic control systems, that were present when the 718 left the factory.

Of course, no changes have been made to the engine either, so if the base 718 is equipped with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine, then even though it looks like a 356, the engine is the same.

Purchasers can freely customize the final finish from a wide range of customization options, and of course there are many paint colors to choose from (said to be virtually infinite).
Interior trim options are similarly available in a wide range of colors and materials.

By the way, the interior itself remains largely unchanged from the base 718.

The only difference is that Stärke has removed the Porsche emblem from the steering wheel (presumably for legal reasons), and of course there are no Porsche crests, logos, or anything else on the car, including the exterior.

The cost of modifying this 718 to look like a Porsche 356 Speedster is said to be at least $135,000 (approximately 20 million yen), including the base 718 Boxster/Cayman.
If you want Stärke to prepare the car from the base 718, it will cost at least $189,000 (approximately 30 million yen).

It's quite expensive, but it's quite interesting that it has 718 performance and looks like 356, so I'd like to try it out if I win the Summer Jumbo lottery (although I'll have to rely on the lottery after all, haha).
