Pre-orders now open for the new Cayenne S EV

The new Cayenne S Electric has been announced, and pre-orders began in Japan on March 10, 2026.

The addition of the new Cayenne S Electric further enhances the fully electric SUV lineup, which offers a balanced combination of high performance, efficiency and a wide range of features.

The 4WD system delivers 400kW (544PS) and up to 490kW (666PS) when launch control is used.

The Cayenne S Electric features model-specific front and rear sections, giving it a distinctive appearance.

Additionally, a "Director's Cut" of the "Style" product line, designed by Style Porsche, was also announced.

The first of these, the Interior Style Package, will be available for all Cayenne EV models.

What is the new Cayenne S Electric?

Let's take a look at some of the more detailed information that was announced:

• The new Cayenne S Electric is positioned between the Cayenne Electric and the top-of-the-line Cayenne Turbo Electric.
• With an additional 165 kW (224 PS) of power, a refined exterior design and more equipment options, the S model stands out from the entry-level model.

• The Cayenne S Electric accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h.
• Like all current Cayenne Electric models, the Cayenne S Electric is equipped with a high-voltage battery with a total energy capacity of 113 kWh.
• WLTP combined range of up to 653 km
• At a suitable fast charging station with up to 400kW, the car can be charged from 10 to 80% in under 16 minutes (this depends on optimal conditions, so please see the official website for details).

Direct oil cooling on the rear axle for high continuous load and efficiency

• The drive system, equipped with one permanent magnet synchronous motor on each front and rear axle, delivers a system output of 400 kW (544 PS), or up to 490 kW (666 PS) when launch control is used.
• Like the Cayenne Turbo Electric, the Cayenne S Electric uses direct oil cooling for the electric motor on the rear axle.
• Unlike conventional electric motors, heat is dissipated directly from the current-carrying components
• The rear axle pulse inverter uses silicon carbide as the semiconductor material and can handle currents up to 620A.

• The Cayenne S Electric features model-specific front and rear aprons in Volcano Grey Metallic, as well as body-colored inserts and a diffuser.
• 20-inch Cayenne S Aero wheels complement the exterior styling
• Equipment that was previously only available as an option on the turbo model is now also available on the Cayenne S Electric.
• Optional Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) provides even more precise driving dynamics
• Porsche Active Ride suspension compensates for body movements almost perfectly, providing excellent driving stability.
• The Cayenne S Electric is also available with the high-performance Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system with yellow-painted brake calipers and the Sport Chrono Package.
• The Push-to-Pass function allows for an additional power output of up to 90 kW (122 PS) to be released for 10 seconds.
• Integrated Track Mode preconditions the battery to ensure optimal performance on the track

• Like all fully electric Cayennes, the Cayenne S Electric can be individualised to suit customer preferences.
• Wide range of customization options available with 13 exterior colors and various interior and accent packages

New from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur: Interior Style Package

• Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur offers a curated selection of packages from the "Style" product line, conceived by the Style Porsche Design Studio and Exclusive Manufaktur.
• The first of these "Director's Cut" features is an interior styling package available as an option on all Cayenne EV models.

• The combination of colours and materials, which harmonise with the Mystic Green Metallic exterior colour, gives the package a modern and luxurious feel.
• The centerpiece is a two-tone leather interior in black and Delgada Green, which is also used for the door trim, 14-way adjustable comfort seats, and seat belts.
• The decorative stitching in Delgada Green, along with the embroidered Porsche Crest on the headrests, highlights the attention to detail inside the car.

• Izabal Green painted aluminum decorative trim provides a modern contrast to the leather trim.
• The GT sports steering wheel is finished in black leather with a 12 o'clock marking and Delgada Green cross stitching.
• The Izabal Green ring on the airbag module and the color-matched knurled drive mode selection wheel accentuate the unique styling.
• Izabal Green accents also appear on the compass dial, sports chrono stopwatch, and power meter on the instrument panel.

• It also comes with a silver accent package and a center console armrest embossed with the words "Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur."
• The vehicle key is finished in Izabal Green and comes with a case with decorative stitching in Delgada Green.

• Black anodized aluminum door entry guards with green illuminated model name and black floor mats with decorative edges, emblems and stitching complete the overall look.
