It seems that Porsche Japan (a subsidiary of Porsche AG, owned by 100%) will celebrate its 30th anniversary on November 17, 2025. Congratulations!
Porsche Japan was established 30 years ago on November 17, 1995, and began operations on January 1, 1998 as the sole importer of Porsche cars. Since then, the company has worked to establish the Porsche brand in the Japanese market and improve the customer experience.

The number of newly registered Porsche cars in Japan was 1,900 in 1996, the first year of its existence, but has now reached a record high of 9,292 (by 2024). *The figures are based on data from the Japan Automobile Importers Association.
Imogen Buschmann, newly appointed President and CEO of Porsche Japan from August 1, 2025, said:
"As we reach the milestone of 30 years of Porsche Japan, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the owners who have supported the brand, our authorized dealers nationwide, the local community, our employees, and all those who love Porsche. The passion and love that our customers pour into Porsche inspires us every day. It is this energy that drives us forward. Together with our dealers and the Porsche Japan team, we would like to nurture this shared passion into an even greater force, and continue to move forward together, committed to performance."
