Posted: Posted:

Porsche sales for Q1-Q3 2025 were 212,509 units

Porsche's worldwide new car sales for the third quarter (July-September) have been announced.

The total number of vehicles sold from January to September 2025 was 212,509, down approximately 61 TP1T compared to the same period last year. Of these 212,509, 35.21 TP1T were electrified vehicles (down 12.81 TP1T compared to the same period last year), with 23.11 TP1T being fully electric vehicles and 12.11 TP1T being plug-in hybrid vehicles.

North America remained the largest sales region in the third quarter, with deliveries of 64,446 units, an increase of 51 TP1T compared to the same period last year.

North America accounts for approximately 30% of global sales, so it seems that the strong sales numbers in North America have saved the company this time.

Overseas and emerging regions also saw a record high of 43,090 units, so with these figures from North America plus overseas and emerging regions, it seems that overall sales managed to stay 61 TP1T lower than the same period last year.

By the way, Porsche says that these figures are in line with their expectations, considering the current difficult times.

Also, the new 911 Turbo S was announced at the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) last month.Expect lots of great products in the coming months. That's Porsche.

The best-selling model is still the Macan

In the first three quarters of 2025, 64,783 Macans were delivered, an increase of 181 TP1T compared to the same period last year, of which more than 551 TP1T (36,250 units) were electric vehicles.

The internal combustion Macan also continues to be sold in most markets outside the EU, with 28,533 units of these.

The Cayenne's sales decline was the worst, at minus 221 TP1T, so we're looking forward to the new Cayenne that will be announced at the end of this year (but it's an EV, so we'll have to wait and see what happens...).

In fact, all models except the Macan are down compared to the same period last year.

Matthias Becker, Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG, said:

"In recent weeks, we have made forward-looking product decisions that respond to the diverse needs of our customers around the world and the slowing adoption of electric mobility, positioning us to be more flexible going forward.

The market environment is expected to remain challenging, and Porsche will focus more than ever on managing the balance between supply and demand based on its "Value over Volume" strategy.

Additionally, we will further expand our Exclusive Manufaktur and Sonderwunsch programs to meet growing customer demand for vehicle individualization.

It is said that.

It is true that many people want to give their Porsche more of their own personal touch by using PTS or Sonderbunsch.

However, in the current situation, when I hear that it is "to meet increasing customer demands for individualization," I can't help but think, "Well, that would mean the selling price would be higher even though it's the same vehicle," and even though I love Porsche so much, I find myself taking a negative view of it.

...But even so, I still love Porsche, so I think, "Well, if they let me do things like Sonderbunsch, I'd like to do that❤"... I guess I'm a bit stingy... (laughs).
