8 things about Porsche hidden in the video
At the end of 2025,The secret hidden in Porsche's holiday greeting videoIn a blog post titled "," Porsche introduced the holiday greeting video it had released.
This video is a puzzle from Porsche, which says, "There are eight Porsche secrets in the video, so try to find them."
So I watched the video carefully and had fun guessing what those eight things were.
Here are my eight predictions:
① The number attached to the first 356 was "K 45 286"
②The introduction of the Mercedes 500E
3. The Targa number indicates the year Porsche was born: "S PM 1963"
④The appearance of the red tractor
⑤The history of stickers (decals) from the past to the present
⑥ Display of 1974, the year Turbo was born (74911)
⑦ Nürburgring time achieved by the 919 Hybrid EVO
⑧ Appearance of Whale Tail
Porsche has since revealed the answer to these eight secrets, so let's take a look at the answer.
By the way, this video was created by a team of directors, producers, and designers at Parallel Studio in Paris.
I also wrote about this in this articleBut I thought it was a wonderful video with a lot of attention to detail and love for Porsche.
Now let's take a look at the correct answers to the eight "Porsche Secrets."
1st: K 45 286
This is the correct answer. The first Porsche that appears has the number "K 45 286".

This number plate is the 356 No. 1 Roadster that started it all, and the first prototype to bear the Porsche name.

2nd: Mercedes-Benz 500E
This is also correct.
In a video about Porsches, there are only Porsches in the footage, but for some reason, one Mercedes appears in the video.

In 1988, Porsche AG, which, like Mercedes, is headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany, signed a contract to develop the Mercedes-Benz 500E, an even faster version of the W124 model.
When the new car was released in 1991, it was said to have surprised people at the time by having a 0-100km time of just 6.1 seconds and a top speed electronically limited to 250km/h.

3rd: Porsche tractor
This also worked.
A Porsche diesel Super Tractor appeared on the screen.

Porsche also has a history in agricultural vehicles, with Ferdinand Porsche, the founder of Porsche AG, designing tractors in the 1930s.
This tractor, photographed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, was produced under license by Mannesmann when tractor production resumed in Germany after World War II.

It is estimated that more than 125,000 Porsche diesel tractors were manufactured between 1956 and 1963.
4th: Pink Pig
Well, of course I noticed the Pink Pig keychain, but it's so commonplace to me that I never thought it was one of the secrets. I've been fooled.
So the fourth correct answer is Pink Pig.

The Porsche 917/20 "Pink Pig" racing car is extremely famous.
It was born from the imagination of Porsche designer Anatole 'Tony' Lapine, who came up with the design, which was based on various cuts of pork, when the car competed in the 1971 24 Hours of Le Mans.
In fact, this Pink Pig Design Porsche 917/20 competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans at the time, but was forced to retire due to a crash, and has never raced again since.

In fact, this car only competed in one race and never finished in the finish line, but it is still known as the most famous Porsche livery, which is truly impressive.
5th: Duck
In terms of stickers, it may be the right choice, but Porsche was particularly drawn to the "Duck" design.

The ducktail, which represents the dawn of Porsche's aerodynamic technology, debuted on the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 in 1972.
This ducktail rear wing, which was first used on a mass-produced car, has become one of Porsche's most beloved models, and about 37 years later, in 2009, it was used again on the limited edition 911 Sport Classic (Type 997), once again grabbing the limelight.

Ducktail is so cute~
6. Nürburgring lap record
Yes, yes, this is also correct.
"5:19.546" on the road sign.

This is the fastest lap time recorded by Timo Bernhard on the Nürburgring Nordschleife at the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The record was set by the Porsche 919 Hybrid EVO, and it is said that this record has not yet been broken.

7th: Fried eggs
Wow, I got tricked into this too. I had no idea.
The Targa shown on the screen had a fried egg badge on the rear.

When the 996 Porsche 911, the first car equipped with a water-cooled engine, was released in 1997, its headlights were infamously described as "looking like fried eggs." In other words, it wasn't popular at the time. In fact, it was heavily criticized.
*By the way, Porsche itself is said to be "the infamous 'fried egg'."

It was this 996 model that I encountered when I first recognized Porsche as a Porsche, so I personally thought "That's cool" when I saw the fried egg headlights, and I like these headlights.
8th: Whale Tail
Hmm, this is also somehow correct.
The stars reflected in the night sky formed the shape of a whale's tail.

In 1974, the 911 Carrera RS 3.0 was released, featuring a large, flat aerodynamic device at the rear.
It was given the nickname "Whale Tail."

These were the secrets of the eight Porsches hidden in the footage.
My answer to that question is:
① The number attached to the first 356 was "K 45 286"→ 〇
②The introduction of the Mercedes 500E → 〇
3. The Targa number indicates the year Porsche was born: "S PM 1963" → × (Pink Pig)

⑤The history of stickers (decals) from the past to the present → △ (Ducktail)
⑥ Display of 1974, the year Turbo was born (74911) → × (fried eggs)
⑦ Nürburgring time achieved by the 919 Hybrid EVO → 〇
⑧ Appearance of Whale Tail → 〇
It has become.
I'm glad they also published the correct answer. I feel relieved.
