Kjell Gruner to be appointed as new President & CEO of Porsche North America

Kjell Gruner, 53, will replace the current CEO, Klaus Zellmer, as the next CEO. He is currently the Chief Marketing Officer and Global Vice President Marketing.

Gruner studied in Germany and the United States, has worked in several departments at Boston Consulting, has been the director of Mercedes Strategy at Dimler AG, and has been Porsche Global as Chief Marketing Officer at Porsche AG since 2010. It seems that he has contributed to the development as a brand. He is also the Managing Director of Porsche Smart Mobility GmbH.
Gruner will be appointed CEO of Porsche North America in Atlanta, USA from November 1, 2020.
In the meantime, CFO Thierry Kartochian and COO Joe Lawrence will be responsible for day-to-day business management.
