911 fuel tank capacity reduced from 64 litres to 63 litres
This is a very minor thing, but starting with the 992.2 model Porsche 911, the gasoline tank capacity has been reduced by one liter from 64 liters for the 992.1 model to 63 liters.
Who would have thought that something like this could quietly become smaller in size!
This is the fuel tank capacity listed in the Porsche 911 manual for 992.1. It is 64 liters.
And here is the fuel tank capacity of the Porsche 911 (992.2) Carrera, which can currently be viewed in the configurator.
It is 63 liters.
By the way, I was curious so I looked at other models as well, and both the hybrid 992.2 911 GTS and the recently announced 992.2 Carrera T all had fuel tanks of 63 liters.
I wondered if this was a mistake on the Japanese configurator (sorry for doubting you (lol)), so I checked overseas as well, and there the capacity had changed from the 992.2 model to "16.6 gallons."
16.6 gallons is approximately 62.83 liters, so I think it's safe to say it's 63 liters.
The 997-type Porsche 911 GT3 was delivered in the summer. The fuel tank capacity is 90L, and after experiencing this 90L, it was so good that I thought "it's great to have such a large capacity", so it's a bit disappointing that the 992.2 model has reduced the already small capacity by another liter...
Eh? You're looking at too many details (lol)?
