The 23rd theme is off-road
The 23rd Porsche Mobility Mission will take place on Sunday, December 15, 2024, and its theme will be "Off-road".
This was the last morning mission of 2024, and since it was off-road, I thought that there would be many Dakar vehicles gathered there...but surprisingly, there was only one Dakar.
Is that so? That's surprising.
A talk session was also held on the day by automotive writer Tatsuya Otani.
Since it was December, it was cute that PEC Tokyo and Cayenne were decorated for Christmas.
24th Morning Mission Overview
The next Morning Mission, the first of 2025, the 24th, will be held on Sunday, January 19th, 2025.
The theme of the 24th episode is once again "911".
There have been two 911 themed morning missions in the past. These were:
- 19th Night Mission
- 13th event scheduled for January 2024 → held in February due to bad weather
With that in mind, the theme of the January Morning Mission every year may be "911" from now on.
As always, the year starts with Porsche's pride and joy, the 911.
Furthermore, the next New Year's morning mission will include the customary (?) mochi pounding. Last year, I had the opportunity to try some freshly pounded mochi at PEC Tokyo, and it was delicious!
The next event will be the first in 2025, and apparently there will also be a chance to win a test drive of the new 911 Carrera handling truck.
The guest for the talk session was motor journalist Goro Okazaki, who is also a 911 Targa owner.
And again, because I was up all drunk over the New Year holidays, the application period for this Morning Mission ended before I could write about the next Morning Mission on my blog (sorry...).
