The 18th theme is 4-door Aip
The 18th Porsche Momentum Mission will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024, and its theme will be "4-Door Ape."
Since it is a 4-door type, it looks like there are a lot of Macan and Cayennes.
Of course, other four-door models include the Taycan and Panamera.
The Morning Mission is open to applications and participation even if your Porsche does not fit the theme, so there seemed to be quite a few participants that day with two-door models.
This adorable Cayenne will also be participating!!
This is super cute, isn't it? Amazing! It's also great that it was brought in as a participating vehicle for the Morning Mission.
This cute Cayenne looks really good in the group photo.
19th Morning Mission (Night Mission) Overview
The next Morning Mission, the 19th, will not only be held on a weekday, but it will also be the first-ever "Night Mission" to be held in the evening.
As for why it is being held on a weekday, as you all probably know, there is a day in September called September 11th that is an exciting day for Porsche enthusiasts (is that really the case (lol)?), and of course this night mission will also be held on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024.
Certainly, if it were held on a weekday, the number of people who could participate in the morning mission would be limited, so it might be better to hold it at night. It's still hot, so it might be good weather-wise.
The theme of the 19th event, which will be held on the memorable 9/11 day, is "9/11". Well, that's what happens, isn't it? If the theme was 7/18, people would probably be like, "What's going on?" (laughs).
On this day, there was a talk session on the theme of 911 by Goro Okazaki and Tomoko Fujishima, an evening demonstration lap (paid: a price of 9,110 yen per person, a price focused on 911!), and…
There will be a simulator time trial, and the main event of the day, the night parade run.
Not only will you be able to drive your own participating vehicle on the PEC Tokyo track, but you will also be able to experience a night drive, which is not normally an experience.
By the way, does PEC Tokyo have lights on the course? I've never thought about it. I don't think there are any.
Unveiling of the new Porsche 911 992.2
Although I wrote that the Night Parade Run might be the main event of the day, I personally think that this was the main event of the day.
That was the unveiling and presentation of the 992.2 Porsche 911!!
That's nice, isn't this the first time the 992.2 has appeared in Japan? As expected from PEC Tokyo, they're bringing out the best in us ^^
Everyone who participates in the night mission on this day will be meeting the 992.2 Porsche 911 for the first time in Japan. I think it's great that the 992.2 911 will be unveiled for the first time in Japan on 911 Day!
And sorry, I was spacing out again and the deadline for applications for the Night Mission had passed... For those who have already applied, please have fun ^^!
