Buffet lunch at PEC Tokyo Restaurant 906

Posted: Posted:

Porsche Experience Center Tokyo Restaurant

On this day, I was invited to lunch with two women related to Porsche, so I went to the Porsche Experience Center Tokyo again.

Perhaps because it was a public holiday, the driving program session that was just about to begin was quite lively.

I really like the sight of all these instructors coming on stage and being matched with those who have signed up for the riding program.

I couldn't help but watch this time too. The instructor who taught me before was also there.

And since it was a public holiday, lunch at Restaurant 906 that day was buffet style (although it seems you could also order regular meals?).

The buffet here is in a style where appetizers and desserts are placed randomly on the same table.

So, as I thought last time, when I'm starting my meal and go to get an appetizer, I can't help but see something that catches my eye and think, "Oh, this dessert looks delicious," and I want to eat that dessert first, but on the other hand, when I've finished eating a hearty main course and go to get dessert, the appetizer I had first catches my eye again and looks delicious, so I find myself going back to the appetizer, thinking, "Maybe I'll have this ham and cheese one more time."

Only me (laughs)?

I couldn't open all the lids and take pictures, so you can't really tell what's what with the lids all closed (lol), but here are some different dishes:

On this day, I had lunch with two women related to Porsche and myself, and we had a very enjoyable time that day as well.

As I listened to various stories, I was reminded that there really is a connection between people, and that our meeting that day was also a fate.

Oh yes, I met the chef from Restaurant 906 again.

Until now I would just say "Hello" every time, but this time I finally told him my name ^^ And the chef's name is Pascal.

Pascal greeted the two women I was with normally, but when he saw me he said, "Oh, you're always Irune!" (laughs).

Pascal-san, you always have a lovely smile and are so kind to me. Thank you so much. We even took a commemorative photo together that day.

This is the non-alcoholic cocktail "906" recommended by Pascal.

I wanted to introduce it to you, but it's really out of the blue. Sorry... It may look like this, but it's carbonated, and it's very refreshing and delicious even in the summer.

Also, for the first time, gelato was available as a dessert at the buffet that day.

This ice cream was the only one that was offered to each customer, and only one flavor at a time, but I was still happy because I had never had it before. I got the Yubari Melon flavor.

I rode in a Sonderwunsch Targa 4S.

This Sonderwunsch I saw the last time I visited PEC Tokyo.(Porsche made as a special request) Targa 4S.

How.

Amazingly, I was able to sit in this car this time.

I had assumed that you were only allowed to look at the cars on display and not allowed to get in, but when I happened to look at it that day, I saw a parent and child getting into the car as if it were nothing.

I thought, "Huh?" and asked the receptionist, "May I try riding it?" and he replied, "Sure!"

Oh no. I didn't know you could ride it!

*Of course, whether you can ride or not depends on the car on display, so be sure to check before getting in.

This is the first time I've been able to ride in a Sonderwunsch-spec Porsche.

This Targa 4S features a bright blue interior. It's completely blue.

The stitching is also the same blue color.

When I first looked at this car from the outside, I thought, "What a flashy blue interior," but when I saw someone actually riding in it, my impression changed again and I thought, "Oh, it looks even more wonderful when there's someone riding in it."

The blue interior seen from inside the car looked even cuter than just looking at it from the outside, and it felt like a blue version of the Barbie world (I wonder if that's clear (lol)).

The image I get is that if you were to drive along a seaside road in the summer with the roof open, it would feel like a scene from a movie.

It also has an exclusive manufacture embossing.

I never thought I'd get to ride in a Sonderwunsch Porsche 911, but it was a really great experience.

Next to it was a Panamera 4, which came in Oak Green Metallic Neo (562,000 yen) exterior color and 21-inch exclusive design wheels (516,000 yen), I think?

Furthermore, the interior color will be black/night green (641,000 yen).

It was a Panamera with options that seemed to be quite expensive (maybe there was a sports design package or lighting changes?).

We spent a very enjoyable few hours at PEC Tokyo that day, and once again we observed the cherry blossoms.

Despite the hot summer sun, the tree has grown lush and healthy. The trunk has also gotten thicker, and I'm looking forward to seeing it grow even more.

I said goodbye to the two women who had joined me that day and headed to Costco Kisarazu.

The price of premium gasoline at Costco on this day was 168 yen/L. Still cheap.

When I go to Costco, after shopping I open the roof of my cabriolet and throw all my purchases in from the top, and on this day too, people looked at me as if to ask, "What is that guy doing?"

But putting luggage on top of this convertible is so convenient that I can't stop doing it.

It was a very fun day ^^
