Premium Charging Alliance/PCA
Until now, Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen have been able to use each other's fast chargers through the Premium Charging Alliance (PCA).
It has now been announced that Lexus will join the Premium Charging Alliance. The service with Lexus will begin in July 2025.
From July 2025, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, and Lexus will be able to offer their Grand EV owners interchangeable chargers at their dealerships and commercial facilities using their existing apps without any additional procedures.
*PCA is only available to monthly members at Kusatsu Rapid Chargers. Charging fees are based on the fees set by the other network.
PCA is a premium charging service that integrates a network of CHAdeMO standard fast chargers with output of 90 to 150 kW from each brand, and as of February 2025, PCA's domestic charging network will consist of 385 units at 371 locations.
Lexus products will also be added to this from July, so it seems like it will become much more convenient.
