Launch control method for AT cars
It is said that the method of launch control differs slightly depending on the manufacturer (car), but in most cases, when the car is stopped, step on the brake with your left foot, press the launch control start button, and then press the accelerator with your right foot. Start by stepping on ... and releasing your left foot from the brake.
* In the case of Porsche, left foot brake → right foot accelerator fully open while braking → launch control turns on after a while, so release the left foot from the brake.
Launch control method for MT cars
So what about a manual car that has a clutch pedal in addition to the brakes and accelerator? ??
The new M3 and M4, which are not BMW competition models, also have a 6-speed MT, and it seems that these two are also equipped with a launch control function.
