Frauscher x Porsche 790 Specter and Macan Turbo Concept Lago

Porsche and Austrian boat manufacturer Frauscher Boats have collaborated before, and this time they announced a new model, the Frauscher x Porsche 790 Specter, at boot Düsseldorf 2026.

This new boat is said to be a sports boat designed based on the electric powertrain of the fully electric Macan, and at the world premiere, an even more customized ``car'' called the ``Macan Turbo Concept Lago'' was also unveiled.

This Macan Turbo Concept Lago is said to be a thoroughly customized concept car.

Frauscher x Porsche 790 Spectre: Frauscher x Porsche 790 Spectre

First up is the new 790 Spectre, which is built around the high-voltage battery, rear axle motor and control electronics of the fully electric Macan Turbo.

The result is a sports boat that is as light, agile and efficient as its award-winning predecessor, the 790 Specter.

The new 790 Specter also comes in an open model called "Air."

While the drive module, which includes a 100kWh battery and a 400kW PSM motor, remains largely unchanged, the car is said to be lighter, shorter and narrower than the previous 790 Spectre model.

I hope the next model of the 911 will be lighter, shorter, and narrower...

The new boat is 7.97 metres long and has been thoroughly customised by Porsche Exclusive Manufactory, highlighting the close connection between car and boat.

The boat and Macan EV share a unified design style, blending the worlds of water and land.

Furthermore, like Porsche cars, the Paint to Sample (PTS) program will be available, meaning that the shipyard can paint the vehicle in any color they like as an 11-layer finish.

The side blades on the Concept Lago are painted the same color as the body, while on the Showboat they are high-gloss black with the word "electric" lettering.

Interior features genuine wood, marine-grade fabrics, and a compass

Like the Macan, the 790 Spectre's interior also features a start button located on the left side of the steering wheel, a steering wheel covered in genuine Porsche synthetic leather, and a Porsche crest on the driver and passenger seats.

The meter is also a five-row round type. The rear seat design, featuring vertical stitching, is also inspired by Porsche seat design.

The Macan Turbo Concept Lago model also includes bespoke Porsche Sonderwunsch equipment, with both the front and rear luggage compartments made of genuine yacht-style wood.

This might be the first time I've seen something made from wood.

High-quality natural materials are also found in the decorative elements of the door trim and floor mats, which are said to be reminiscent of the deck of a ship.

Instead of the Porsche Sport Chrono, a compass sits at the top of the cockpit.

The seat centers are upholstered in marine-grade fabric, which matches the crayon-colored leather on the seat bolsters.

Even the air vents are trimmed in crayon leather.

In addition to the leather interior package, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur adds to the concept car's appeal with night green contrast stitching.

The keys for both the boat and the Macan are customized in the same way (each with a dark teal metallic finish).

The Macan Turbo Concept Lago is not currently available for purchase, but the Frauscher x Porsche 790 Specter can be ordered.

Finally, along with the announcement of this new boat and concept boat, Porsche also announced that the Cayenne Turbo EV, which also made its German debut at the Dusseldorf event, can now be ordered and customized! (laughs)

It is said to be a powerful towing vehicle perfect for boat trailers.
