Former Porsche Japan CEO Michael Kirsch's current situation
This was announced shortly after April 2025, but I haven't had the chance to write about it yet, so I'll write about it now, but it's about the personnel restructuring in the sales and marketing departments at Porsche AG.
Matthias Becker to take up the post of Executive Board Member for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG at the end of February 2025It appears that they are currently working on forming a new team.
Robert Ader will become the new Managing Director of Porsche Germany on May 1, 2025, and Dr. Christiane Zorn will be in charge of overseas and emerging markets. In addition, it was announced that Iryna Kauk will be in charge of the European sales region (excluding Germany) in the future.
Robert Ader has been with Porsche since 2001 and was most recently in charge of global marketing for Porsche AG and the European sales region.
So, there were a lot of personnel announcements made, but I don't think it's information that we in Japan need to be too concerned about (and even if we were, there's no point in worrying about it).
So why am I writing about this personnel announcement? Well... it's because!
Yes, I was intrigued by this announcement:
"Iryna Kauk was most recently head of Porsche's Central and Eastern European subsidiary in Prague. She will be succeeded by Michael Kirsch, who has been with Porsche since 2012 and served as CEO in markets including Korea, Japan and China."

Oh yes, something was announced about Michael Kirsch, who was previously CEO of Porsche Japan.
Well, Kirsch, I was worried about where you had gone halfway through (←I know I'm being nosy (lol)).
* Previously, after Japan, he became CEO of Porsche China, Hong Kong and Macau, but when there were further personnel changes, it ended with a statement like "Mr. Kirsch's future will be announced at a later date," which made me curious.
I'm relieved to know where Mr. Kirsch will be next. I was a little worried when I didn't know where he was going after Porsche China (laughs).
