Final Fantasy VII REBIRTH x Porsche
When I was young, I played a lot of Final Fantasy, which was not yet available online.
When I was working at a company, I would take paid time off on the release date of a new product to play games, and after moving overseas, I bought a projector and projected Final Fantasy onto the wall of my room, so I could play the game on a big screen. I moved so much inside that I got drunk and threw up (are you stupid?).
Anyway, for several years in my life, I enjoyed playing Final Fantasy. Fun memories.
Well, that's a good preface for this time.Final Fantasy VII RebirthFollowing the announcement, Final Fantasy (FF) announced a collaboration with Porsche.
Maybe Porsche will appear in the new FF (VII Rebirth)? !
Porsche in the world of Final Fantasy? ! That's what I thought, but it seems that's not the case.
This time, a video has been released featuring FF VII Reverse's creative director Tetsuya Nomura, producer Yoshinori Kitase, director Naoki Hamaguchi, and 1997 and 2024 model Porsches. He talks about how his dream of a worldview was realized and his connection with Porsche/points that he can empathize with.
Here is the video. Although it is spoken in Japanese, the language is English for overseas audiences (5:10)↓
In addition, to commemorate this FF x Porsche collaboration, a Porsche 911 with FF VII reverse wrapping is also on display at the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles.
Incidentally, the voice actors in the game (Briana White/Aerith, Caleb Pierce/Zack, Suzie Yeung/Yuffie, Max Mittlemen/Red XIII) also apparently had some experience driving in the PEC.
After all, it seems that Porsche will not appear in the game, and it seems that this collaboration is based on sympathy for Porsche's so-called "Driven by Dreams" and the creation of the FF worldview. (?).
It's a collaboration that I don't really understand, but I like FF and I like Porsche, so I guess it's okay (lol).
