The list here is based on data from 2024. In Japan, the best-selling car was the Honda N-Box. Wow.
When you take a quick look at the best-selling cars in various countries, the one that catches your eye is the Toyota Hilux.
The table below counts and lists the model names that appear on this list, and as you can see, the Toyota Hilux is the best-selling car in a whopping 31 of the countries listed.
That's amazing.
Looking at the manufacturers, Toyota wins by a landslide.
...It was an interesting list just to look at, but if you look closely, you'll notice that there is one country in which the model listed is "Porsche 911."

Hold on a second (lol). The GR Yaris is in second place, not the Yaris.
So what about the third and fourth place? Apparently it's the Porsche Cayenne and Macan. What kind of country are they from (lol)?

Even though the country probably only buys around 500 cars a year, it's impressive that three Porsches are in the top four.
