The next CEO of Porsche AG is former McLaren CEO
There it is.
Today, October 17, 2025, the Executive Committee of the Supervisory Board of Porsche AG authorized the Chairman of the Supervisory Board to enter into discussions with Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Board of Management of Porsche AG, regarding the early termination of his term as a member of the Board of Management by mutual agreement.
Wow, so Oliver Blume is finally finishing his duties as a Porsche executive.

The current candidate to succeed him is Michael Leiters, former CEO of McLaren Automotive Limited.
Negotiations with Michael Leiters are apparently about to begin, but since it has been officially announced so far, I think it's pretty much a done deal.
By the wayPeople who were rumored to be potential successors as of August this yearwas as follows:
- Michael Steiner (Vice Chairman of the Board of Management of Porsche AG and Director of Research and Development)
- Stefan Weckbach (Head of Group Strategy, VW)
- Frank-Steffen Walliser (CEO of Bentley)
- Klaus Zellmer (CEO of Skoda)
Suddenly, a different person's name popped up.
Oliver will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors (CEO) of Volkswagen AG even after stepping down from his Porsche position.
It's sad because Oliver was so lovely.
