Porsche tops the premium brand category
Porsche ranked first in the premium brand category among new car customers in the 2024 U.S. Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) survey conducted by American research company J.D. Power and released in November 2024.
What's more, this marks the second consecutive year that it has ranked first, following on from last year.
Porsche came in first with a total of 851 points (out of a maximum of 1,000), 11 points better than last year, and also took first place in the premium car and premium SUV segments.
By the way, it also took first place in the premium SUV segment last year.
The survey analyzed the purchasing experience from the customer's perspective and was based on responses from 34,596 people who purchased or leased a new car between March and May 2024.
Customers evaluated brands based on six aspects of the new car purchase process, especially Porsche:
- Delivery process
- Porsche dealer representative
- Formation of the contract
- Document procedures
- Dealer Facility
- Dealer Website
It received the highest ratings from customers in all six areas of the evaluation criteria.
By the way, this is the ranking in the mass-produced car category ↓
Porsche is currently struggling with new car sales, but I would be happy if they continue to top sales satisfaction surveys in the future (although this survey is from the US ^^).
