brake spelling
Here is a photo that was posted on X by a member of Porsche Club America in a Facebook group.
It seems to be a 992.1 type 911, but the model is unknown.
The message displayed in the photo was "Please replace the brake pads soon." There's also this warning.
But this post says "but look closely". picture? What does "Please take a closer look" mean?
...and when I looked at it carefully, I realized, ahhh.
Porsche uses the word "brake" four times on this small screen, and the letters for brake are from top to bottom:

- Brake
- break
- BRAKE

Yes, I think it's easier to understand if you match the uppercase and lowercase letters:

Only the third "brake" is "break" instead of "brake"! !
Hahaha. I think this is just an oversight when it was completely translated from German to English, but there is a misspelling of 911.
Actually, I couldn't laugh too much, because the other day when I wanted to look up brake pipes, I made the mistake of searching for "break pipe" at first.
Surprisingly, the words "brake" and "break" are sometimes confused even by native speakers (excuse me lol).
