AUTOMOBILE COUNCIL 2023
The "Automobile Council 2023"I went to.
This time, I was invited by an acquaintance, so I was able to go.
It's my first event, so I'm excited because I don't know what it's like. My husband drives M3 to Makuhari Messe.
This event is relatively small compared to the Auto Salon and Motor Show, and even though it is held at Makuhari Messe, the venue is only the "International Exhibition Hall 9-11".
When I head to this international exhibition hall, I'm probably not the only one who feels happy because it looks like I'm heading to "911".
Arrived at the venue.
This area as far as the eye can see is almost the entire event venue.
The venue is smaller than the Auto Salon, so if you just look around the cars, you might end up looking at them in no time... but each car is very interesting. Due to the large number of cars, it felt like the time had passed in the blink of an eye, even though the venue was so small.
I think that articles and photos about Automobile Council 2023 have been published in various media, so I would like to write only about Porsche.
Let's start with these Porsches that were visible right below when I entered this venue.
Organizer Theme Exhibition: Porsche 911 60th Anniversary Project "From Early Narrow to Carrera GT"
One of the organizer's theme exhibitions this time was the 60th anniversary of the Porsche 911, and four Porsches from the early Narrow to the Carrera GT were exhibited.
I would like to see the four that were on display.
1966 Porsche 911
It is an early 1966 Porsche 911, and it is a model when it was a single grade before variations such as S and T were added.
A 2-liter SOHC air-cooled horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine (130ps) in a body weighing only 1,080kg.
1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7
The model known as the so-called "Nanasan Carrera".
It weighs 1,090 kg and has a 2.7-liter air-cooled horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine (210 ps).
1993 Porsche 959
2.9-liter DOHC water-cooled horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine (450ps).
I have no knowledge about historical Porsche,When I met 959 at the Porsche garage the other dayAfter seeing that many people saw this model as their favorite Porsche, I paid homage to the Porsche 959 and purchased a minicar.
Oh, so you don't have to include any trivial information? I'm sorry (laughs).
2006 Porsche Carrera GT
Carrera GT that was exhibited here although it is not 911. A midship V10 engine (612ps) 6-speed MT only model.
Before,I have heard the sound when actually runningBut it sounded really great.
Porsche exhibition booth
Next, the Porsche Japan booth next door.
Demonstration of Porsche valve timing adjustment
At the Porsche Japan booth, there is also a space that looks like a small workshop next to the area where cars are displayed.
Demonstrations are also held here several times a day, and the one I saw was adjusting the valve timing of a 1989 930 turbo engine.
Fine adjustment to match the valve timing of this engine is very important and craftsmanship.
If you look at it, what is the value at the valve when the crankshaft is rotated 360 degrees? became 0.64, but I felt like "this is still not enough", so I tried again. Then the value is 0.68 this time.
The standard valve timing value of the 930/68 engine described in the Porsche workshop manual is 0.65 to 0.80, so the 0.68 that was adjusted just now is OK. ~".
In other words, I didn't understand it at all (lol), but I could only feel how amazing it was.
It was a demonstration that I would like to see for those who know.
Porsche Zuffenhausen factory brick wallpaper
And here I learned another interesting thing.
A person who went to this event with me told me about the brick wallpaper used in this workshop.
It seems that this is the wallpaper designed with the bricks of Porsche's Zuffenhausen factory.
No, I'm surprised. I can't believe there was a Porsche commitment to such a place. I didn't realize I had seen the outer wall of the Zuffenhausen factory.
Not only that, but the model number (PCG64472200) is also attached to the brick wallpaper from the Zuffenhausen factory, so you can purchase it. No, thank you for telling me interesting stuff (?) ^^
When I want to make a brick-like place someday, I think I'll try making it a Zuffenhausen factory (laughs).
Porsche's history table is on the outside of the wall surrounding the booth this time.
I want to turn this into a wallpaper and turn my hallway into this table ^^
Next, I will look at the cars that were exhibited at the Porsche Japan booth.
Porsche Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo
First of all, this is the Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo. At first glance, it seems unusualRoof tent installed on the roof..
I wanted to see this roof tent in person, so I was very happy to be able to see it here.
I wonder if it's like this... I'm very interested.
It would be really cool if I set up this tent and camped on a Taycan (or other Porsche) somewhere.
However, in order to remove or install this roof tent (from the top of the car), it was said that "at least two athletic boys" were required, so in general, it should be almost permanent. I thought it would be tough.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to go up the stairs to enter the roof tent that was on display here, but here is the inside of the tent that I took with my smartphone from the bottom.↓
It seems to be quite comfortable, and it seems that about 2 adults + 1 child can sleep.
Porsche 2009 Cayenne Turbo (957 type)
Next is this 957 Cayenne Turbo.
recently,Previous model Cayennes such as the first generation Cayenne are back in the spotlightThat's why, the Cayenne that was actually modified for off-road specifications like this is cool!
There was also a 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera (993 type), but for some reason I didn't take a picture...
In addition, there was another exhibition car at the Porsche Japan booth, but it had too much impact (laughs), so I would like to make a separate article.
*The link to another article (exhibition car new Porsche 911 GT3 RS) is at the bottom of this article.
Various Porsches at the venue
Next, I would like to take a look at the other Porsches that were exhibited in the venue.
There were various Porsches that I had seen at other events in the past ^ ^
This is Porsche 924 Carrera GTR (maybe 924 Carrera GT?) ↓
I was wondering if someone personally customized it like this, but there was also a model like this.
It's the moment when you realize your Porsche ignorance.
Various other Porsches were on display.
By the way, at this event, it seems that it was possible to purchase on the spot if the price was displayed on the vehicle ^ ^ (Even if there is no price display, it is negotiable)
In addition to the classical ones, there was also an exhibition of the latest model speedster at the moment, but I was surprised that it was quite expensive.
Carbon Paradise: PORCOROSSO B-010
When I was looking around various things, I first looked at the rear side of this car and thought, "What is that car?"
And when I turned around and looked at it, it became "Oh, is this a Boxster? Was it a Porsche?"
in Osakacarbon paradiseThis Porsche is a full carbon specification 986 Boxster. The vehicle weight is 1,225 kg. It is said that it is about 150 kg lighter than usual. amazing.
It seems that the president of Carbon Paradise has fallen in love with this 986 Boxster, which led to the birth of this car.
By the way, I was interested in hearing that I was having a geek conversation about Porsche with Porsche people at the Porsche Japan booth, and the president asked me to speak. Thank you
When there is such an encounter, it is the moment when I think that I love Porsche and I am glad that I am a Porsche geek (laughs).
This car was also created because I really fell in love with the 986 Boxster (the president himself is created!),"Is it possible to do so much just by liking it?" I really have nothing but respect for you.
Of course, this Boxster can also run, so he was self-propelled from Osaka to participate in this event.
After all Porsche is Porsche because it runs ^ ^
Carbon Paradise also made a full carbon cooling fan for 964/993.
I was given a cooling fan that was about 47% lighter than the genuine product. It was (about 370g) ^^
President, it was an honor to hear from you. Thank you ^^

RENDEZ-VOUS Co., Ltd.: Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0
Finally here,RENDEZ-VOUS Inc.This is the Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0 that was exhibited by Mr.
As some of you may already know, this is a service that allows you to divide the ownership of a car by 1/8.
By owning precious and rare cars that are difficult for one person to own, eight people can keep the cost of ownership low and enjoy it.
For details, please check the website of RENDEZ-VOUS Co., Ltd. ^ ^ →https://app.rendez-vous.tokyo/
The Porsche 930 Turbo 3.0 on display this time was the first car delivered by Mitsuwa Motors to a customer in Japan, and it has been sitting in a garage for over 20 years.
It's been sleeping in the garage for over 20 years, so when I tried the scent (?) inside the car, it was amazing (laughs).
Does it smell like mold?
If you think about it normally, it's a smell that you can't stand (laughs), but of course everything, including these, will be beautifully restored from now on.
I think that the person who can enjoy such a process, including that process, will become a 1/8 owner.
The Porsche in front of me, which is still full of dust now, will be maintained and cleaned inside and out, and eventually I will be able to enjoy driving like a Porsche when it was new decades ago. I thought it would be good to be ... ^ ^
By the way, there was only one regrettable mistake in the Porsche that Rendezvous Co., Ltd. was exhibiting, but now, look for the mistake in that Porsche. understand?
The correct answer is this↓
Porsche is spelled Porsche instead of Porsche. I did it (laughs).
…That’s why I respect you again ^^
In any case, I think this Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0 is a car that you can easily meet, so if you are interested, why not contact us?
welcome party
On April 14th (Friday), when I participated, it seemed that the plan included a welcome party where you could listen to live music.
Even so, when we went to the so-called Disneyland, we were like people ignoring the parade and heading to the attractions, saying, "There's a parade right now, so the attractions are crowded!" I was able to enjoy the inside of the venue ^ ^
Furthermore, since the live performance started in the evening, sake was also served, so we toured the venue while drinking sparkling wine.
What the hell is this?
I have been seen drinking several times in the past (laugh) Even at the Porsche booth, "I feel like I'm carrying a glass of alcohol, just as usual!" As I was told, yes, Porsche and car appreciation while drinking is still the best ^ ^
Oh, by the way, I used to drive to Makuhari Messe, but my husband drove me home on the way home from work, so I didn't have to drive anymore, so I was able to drink. .
Various goods are sold at the event.
This garage miniature made in France? Like, it was so cute.
The Automobile Council, which I went to for the first time, was a fun event to see and purchase various goods and works as well as actual cars.
Above all, I was very happy and honored to be able to go around this event with seniors who are very knowledgeable about Porsche.
It was too much fun to chat, and every few meters I walked, the conversation got so lively that I stopped and started chatting, and I couldn't move forward... it repeats (laughs).
It was a day that I learned a lot and it was really fun. I would like to thank everyone for inviting me to join you this time. thank you very much!
Next, I would like to write about another Porsche that was exhibited at the Porsche Japan booth.
