This time, the order in which the new 992.2 Porsche models are announced seems to be a little different from the 992.1 model (the base model and GTS were released from the beginning,The next one might be GT3.), I was curious, so I decided to start by writing down the order in which the previous 992.1 Porsche 911 models were announced.
I didn't make a list of when things were announced, so it was nice to see what was announced in what order and how long it took to make the list again.
For your reference. If you find any omissions or mistakes, I would appreciate it if you could let me know!

Why is the GT3 being released so early in 992.2?
As you can see from the order in which each model of the 992.1 generation 911 was announced, the GT cars were announced after almost all the non-GT models (excluding GTS and limited edition models) had already been announced.
However, for the 992.2 model, only the base model and the hybrid GTS have been announced so far, and it is said that a GT3 may also be announced.
Why is this?
... I thought about it, but since 2024 is the 25th anniversary of the first appearance of the GT3, Porsche wanted to somehow announce it in 2024 as "25th anniversary of GT3!"
Eh? Isn't that a simple reason? (lol)
However, the first GT3 model of the 996 generation was released in 1999.
A few years ago, when Porsche was thinking about what year to choose to mark an anniversary around the time that they could announce the 992.2 GT3, they probably thought, "Ah, 2024 would be the perfect year to announce it as it would be the 25th anniversary."
In reality, various issues arose that significantly delayed the announcement of the 992.2 itself, and the GT3 could have been announced in 2024 in the usual way, but before we knew it, 2024 was almost over...so we thought, "Oh well, let's just release the GT3 now!"
I guess it's not the same after all (laughs). Hahaha.
