Price of 992 type GT3 in the United States announced
On March 31, 2021, Porsche officially announced the price of the 2022 model Porsche 911 GT3 in the United States. Along with that, even American configurators can now make GT3, and order acceptance has started.
In the United States, there is always a cost for delivering a car ($1,350), and the main vehicle price including that amount is "$162,450" (about 18 million yen at today's rate).
This price is 12% higher than the 991.2 GT3 (compared to the price in the US).
Delivery in the United States will start around the fall of 2021.
Changes from the 2022 model in Porsche 911
At the same time as the start of accepting orders for the 992 type 2022 model GT3 and the price announcement, new prices for other 992 generation Porsche 911 models have also been announced (all in the United States).
Please refer to the new price at the bottom of this page.
And the difference from the 2022 model is the expansion of PCM (Porsche Communication Management) that also has a 10.9 inch touch screen display.
Based on what was first introduced in Porsche Taycan, the interface is flexible and simplified in layout and personalization.
How is it different from the 2021 model?
For the updated system, the connection service is free for 3 years as a trial period (previously it was free for 1 year). And after three years, it will be a subscription-based service purchase.
Apple CarPlay is also eligible for this free trial period (wired or wireless). Furthermore, it also supports Porsche's first Android Auto.
What? Is that so! !! Good ~, compatible with Android. Even though I say ..., I'm not sure what I can do just because I'm connected ^^
There are other things such as support for digital radio, but since it seems to be an American specification, I will omit that part. Details of those contents can be confirmed on the official website of related articles at the bottom of this page.
After that, in the 911 Carrera, Targa, turbo model, remote park assist will be available as an option if it is a PDK car. In other words, Porsche can be taken in and out of the parking space using a smartphone from outside the car.
For the time being, all the content announced this time is about the 2022 model of "American specification", so it may be different from the Japanese specification, so for your reference only ^ ^
